Efficient, thorough, and excellent rates. I requested quotes for 5-6 local moving companies for a move from Marin to Sonoma County. New City Moving responded very quickly and had the cheapest offer of all the companies. Their offer including all the important staples of a good mover: No hidden fees and free materials (packing, pads, etc.) After coordinating a day with Rachel, she continued to be incredibly responsive to my follow-up emails. On moving day, the team showed up about 20 minutes early and continued to work tirelessly the next 6.5 hours of the move. They were incredibly efficient, quick, and careful. The only negatives were minor for me: - English was limited, but I was still able to communicate with the team. - I only received a cash offer, which was fine for me, so I'm not sure if they accept credit card. - I forgot to ask for a receipt and I wasn't automatically offered one. - Their initial hour estimate was off, but that's why it's only an estimate.

Fast and easy booking process, super efficient when they came to move. They managed to get my large amount of furniture into a small pod, efficiently stacking everything so that it wouldn't break but also fit into the pod. They then secured all of the furniture. The office was super responsive and communicative. I would highly recommend this moving company. They were also cheaper than other places that I got a quote from.

New City Movers helped us move a 2br 2ba locally and I cannot understate how satisfied I am with their help. We were able to schedule them on a Saturday when I called that Thursday. Their rates are far lower than any other quote I could find in the area. The movers arrived on time. They were courteous of things I asked them not to move and stayed away from the room our pets were staying in. We got the move done in 5 hours and they worked dutifully the entirety of that time. I don't think our movers were very confident in their English, but their communication was amazing! They communicated through every step of the process and were very polite. I cannot recommend these movers enough to anyone who needs quick and affordable moving help in The Bay.

New City movers came two minutes early and handled everything with extreme care and attention. They were friendly, professional and efficient and after getting quotes from many other competitors, their rates are unmatched. We would definitely recommend them to our friends!

Do not use this moving company - they scheduled and confirmed our move and then did not show up. When we called to ask when we could expect them, they said they could no longer help us and blamed us for their mistake. Please use another moving company - this is an unreliable company.
