One day after contacting Mission Moving back in April 2022 I had to cancel my move back to Florida due to a bad address on Craigs List. This company is not a moving company, but a brokerage company. They have refused to return my $950 deposit. If you’re seeking a moving company stay far away from Mission Moving of south Florida. They will keep your money and cause you much and many headaches because they are just a brokerage company who sells your information to the highest bidder. They will produce a document they call a contract. It is not, it’s not legal or binding because they won’t sign the estimate. They are an LLC operation not liable for anything. Very bad news. Keep looking for a real moving company, you’ll be much happier if you do without any issues or problems.

RUN. This company is TERRIBLE. They’ve actually taught me so much. I’ve learned from them all the red flags to look for in a company. I am used to moving all my stuff myself. So I figured this time I would treat myself. This was nothing but absolute agony trusting a company with my stuff. It’s taken almost 2 weeks to move a small 1/1, 1 state over. The movers actually doctored documents with my signature so that it had a later moving date than what I asked for on the form. The company they had move my stuff was so rude to me and my wife and did not give us any time frame of when our stuff would be delivered. Literally just continued to lie and push out the date then gaslight me about what they said previously. I’ve looked at other peoples comments and they do the same thing. They claimed that since the movers were late and forced us into a specific method of payment that they would expedite our move which STILL has not happened. Then claim they never said this. Very unfortunate that I trusted them with my business. I should not have. Learn from my mistakes. They are not recognized by the BBB. Don’t trust any comments saying that they’re reputable. They’re probably MM company plants.

Mission Moving talks nice, but their words have nothing to do with reality. When we described our move (from Mississippi to California), with a delivery on December 14, we were told "no problem, 10-14 days average, max 21 days." We had a pickup in Mississippi on Saturday, December 4. The driver told us he would take our stuff to the warehouse in Birmingham to unload. When I asked him why they would unload it, he said it was "to maximize our profits," put it on a larger truck for transport. Monday, December 13 I called Mission Moving twice, left messages and no one called back. On Tuesday, December 14, I called again someone told me our stuff was still in storage and he had no idea when it would be loaded to bring to California. He also told me they have up to 21 days for the delivery and specified the 21 days did not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. I reminded him that the pickup was on a Saturday so obviously Saturdays were workdays, and he told me they can do pickups when they want but don't have to deliver for 21 workdays. When I suggested that 10-14 days generally means up to two weeks and 21 days means 3 weeks, he said it's not his fault I didn't read the contract! That afternoon I got an email that the movers were loading my stuff onto a truck for transport, but said I now owed over $300 ETXRA! When our stuff arrived (on a SUNDAY!), many items were damaged because the actual moving company, Insta Movers, had crushed many of the boxes. We filed a claim for over $1,000 and they offered only $105. Due to gross negligence on their part I think they owe us more.

My in-laws moved from San Antonio to Seattle. And the moving experience was terrible. The salesman said that Mission Moving would pay for storage if the timing was inconvenient, but the move was sold to a different moving company and that deal didn't follow. Additionally, the moving company they sold to (1st Generation Movers) didn't return phone calls and wouldn't give more than 24 hours of notice before delivering the items. I had to take the day off last-minute because of this. I wouldn't recommend Mission Moving. The move took 4 weeks, and it was very stressful not getting updates or callbacks.

I would never recommend this company or use them again. This company's sales department is good. They are responsive, friendly and tell you they will be with you through the move every step. Unfortunately once they got our money, they abandoned us, then saddled us with the worst moving experience possible. * Missed the move date by over two weeks. * The movers showed up and demanded another 4K to move the contents because there were more cubic feet (I had already paid for the full cubic feet of the full storage unit, how could the contents grow??) * We had almost 5K in damaged property. * Sitting on hold for up to an hour to wait for a customer service agent is their norm. I waited to write this review because I wanted to know if they would step up and help. Well, after almost 5 months of promises to review and assist, they called today and said "you were told wrong, all we will do is have you call the carrier to resolve". "our job is just to put you in contact with the carrier, which we have done". I pointed out that I didn't hire that carrier, they did, so I would appreciate some assistance. I was told that they did assist in the resolution, they just put me in contact with the carrier they contracted. So here I am, with lots of damaged merchandise, money owed to me and they tell me today they won't help. A) They should be helping. B) They should have told me that 5 months ago when I began asking for assistance post move. I've moved with professional movers over 15 times and this is the ONLY move that was horrifically handled - or should I say not handled
