Another excellent delivery and spread job by Mitchell Trucking! Normally, I'm calling them to get stone for my brothers driveways or friends and they ALWAYS do an excellent job! This time is was for me. Called on a Thursday to see when they could get me on the schedule and was trying for a Saturday delivery. But I know the quarrys close at noon and who wants to work on a Saturday? Dale got me on the schedule for this Monday morning (Sept 9th, 2024) and the driver was here right at 7:00am sharp! I like how the drivers say they are not to good at spreading but the pics speak for themselves! He did awesome! Now a tenant's van was in the way parked on the left side, by the garage and made it a bit challenging. He did catch an old no longer used telephone wire. But to get the bed up and back down that quick without leaving a huge pile was as always... impressive! 👍👍 Just unfortunate the tenants couldn't get up or have their vehicle moved when they were given ample notice. Such is life! For those interested, the driveway is roughly 40' (w) x 100' (l) x 3" (d). 10 tons was perfect for this application. The only other thing I will say is stop voting blue so we can get the cost of aggregate back down to a reasonable cost! Despite the corrupt democrats and liberals out of control spending, that created high inflation,the cost was reasonable! Sure hope Trump get back in office and guts the federal govt to get costs back down to reasonable levels! Anywho, major kudos to Mitchell Trucking for EXCELLENT SERVICE.. AGAIN! 🙏👍👍 When I, family member, or friends need stone hauled or spread in a driveway, your first call should be to Mitchell Trucking! ***Disclosure - I did go over the drive a bit with a 3 foot landscaping rake. No driver can get perfection. But there wasn't much raking at all and yet to have a driver that did a horrible job.

I used them a couple years ago, the young man was very polite and new what he was talking about, he tailgated perfectly as I asked. He suggested that I let it get packed in for a season or so, then get more for second layer, he also complimented me on how nice it was not to have to worry about trees in dumping path, it turned out looking fantastic in the full wooded lot, I’ll be calling them again soon, ready for the second layer. Back then the price was great, which in turn he got a good tip for doing so well.
