Signing with Modern Movers, LLC was the best decision that we could have made. We had our old house for 17 years, and that meant a large inventory. Even after the "culling" while packing, we still had a full truck plus. Zach took the time on the initial assessment to get a good inventory as well as explaining how the move would go and what to expect. He nailed it spot on with all aspects. On move day, the truck arrived on time with a crew of four experienced and professional (in all respects) crew members. The crew leader walked through the house with me to assess and then they got to work. They had to load at the street as my driveway is too steep to get a truck into. They never gave it a second look and just got into it. It took about 6 1/2 hours to fully load me and I was expecting 7. The loading process was smooth and event free. Modern had to hold my load in their secure yard 48 hours due to the delayed closing on our new home. This was known at the time we set up the move and there were no issues there. On move in day, the builder was late to closing, so Modern had to wait. Their attitude was "not a problem. This happens all the time." Once the builder closed, they began the unload. They were fully completed with appliances reconnected and furniture reset in just over 4 hours. I had no OS&D (overages, shortages, damages) and no surprise charges. The entire experience was painless. I will say that I am not the easiest person to impress because as a professional, I expect to get what I pay for. Modern is not the lowest cost mover in the area, but their value cannot be beat. I can honestly say that the level of service, quality, and professionalism far exceeded any expectation I ever had and writing the check was a pleasure. I give Modern Movers, LLC the strongest possible recommendation. Thank you folks for everything. I really appreciate what you did for us.

The guys at Modern Movers actually really blew me away! They were extremely professional but also had great, friendly personalities. Then the most important factor was that they were FAST and efficient! I am truly grateful for such a smooth, painless process.

These folks are exceptional! Our crew of three took pride in their jobs and really worked hard throughout the entire 11 hour day! Even our lower quality furniture they treated with great care, probably more than I’d do if I was moving it myself. When I’ve moved previously I’ve always moved my belongings myself but after this experience I’ll probably just hire Modern Movers if there ever is another move.

Modern Movers was hired by our contractor to help move out our living room furniture so we could have new flooring installed. Manny, Ethan and Kyler arrived exactly on schedule. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely efficient. Our job wasn't time-consuming, but they were well-prepared to help with anything if needed.
