We have had many moves with the well-known large and small moving companies and none come close to our experiences with Modern Moving. We recently did a long distance move with them. They are easy to work with, reliable, take great care, communicate well, and are a very nice and professional company to work with! Definitely give them a call!

We got a wonderful group of guys to help us move my grandmother. They were polite, fast, kind and did an amazing job. They wrapped every single piece of furniture and it was done very professionally and neat. They did no damage to anything and made sure my grandmother was pleased with where everything was before they left. I would highly recommend this company and the movers were the best we have ever had. Great experience!

Going into our move i was impressed with Modern Moving as they came out quickly to give us a quote and seemed to handle my wife's concerns and questions with quick response. i wasn't involved in many of the discussions although i asked a question about the price quote. I had asked if the final price can greatly vary from the quoted price where i was answered that the final cost could go up a couple hundred dollars because of unforeseen occurrences or overtime. I was very comfortable going into the move although we were quoted between $3651-$4115. and ended up paying $5200. The moving day went well except for the fact that Modern Moving was short a truck only providing 2 instead of 3. This extended the move to a bit of our belongings to the next day, which was still no big deal. When it came time to pay, the bill was more than $1100 difference than the quote. Then 10 days later it became apparent that one of the employees had taken 2 blank checks out of my check book and written a fraudulent check that my bank caught . The check was written in excess of $1300 to a company in Carolina. I called the office and told them that i had several complaints. Firstly they had taken our moving dolly's so they were missing, secondly that one of their employees had stolen 2 checks from the middle of my check book, and lastly the difference in the final price. I conveyed this to the owner who was supposed to get back to me but never did. They dropped off 2 dollies about a month later but no explanation of the extra $1100, on the invoice and no explanation about their employee stealing and trying to use my checks. Stay Away!! This got me upset so then

London, Adam and Trayvon were so helpful. They checked the area out, made sure my double sink vanity was wrapped and carried up 5 steps a landing and an additional 6 steps to the main floor. Unwrapped it placed on sliders for me to move latter on. They called me before coming and and was here on time. When scheduling Austin answered all my questions and everytime I called he was prompt on answering and reassuring . Great company would hire them again.
