The owner lied to me. He had the worst customer service. I had been dealing with this all day yesterday. He treated me like a piece of crap. I am not happy about the way he treated me. He asked me to leave instead of helping me. The man from Avis on the phone.

The owner/independent Operator - Fernando Duarte operates with a - I “don’t care” mentality. Tried calling the Avis dealership number and no one answers the phone, and when I get there in person, he tells me there is no car and that he can’t do anything about it. My worst experience ever. Owned by an independent contractor who has absolutely no professionalism.

If I could review negative stars, I would. Service agent was so unprofessional and when I showed I (a paying displeased customer) was upset she proceeded to get rude and loud. I’m so disappointed with my experience that I will not be returning car to this location just so I don’t have to deal with them ever again. Don’t just take my word for it, look at those reviews from others before me.

Just the nicest people in the world! So easy to deal with, unlike other places I have been. Highly recommend them!! Just an update. I had a tire blow out on the highway. Went in the morning to see what could be done. Fernando had me in and out with a new car in less than 10 minutes. Best rental car place I have ever used!

I have tried both locations in Modesto now. Both need to do way better. I was enticed with a deal to rent again, so I tried. Had an 8 day rental for a great price, took one hour to check out the car. I turned the car in and notice a charge for $50. I tried calling, they just won’t answer the phone at all. Enterprise is your best bet for customer service and you won’t be charged with unknown amounts.
