The most expensive move I’ve ever paid for. Did the complete service of packing, storage, and moving. The guys moving and packing were very nice. My complaint is about management and process. I was informed day of the move that they don’t put mattresses in mattress bags unless you buy them in advance. At no point was I asked if I wanted mattress bags. I figured that since I was paying for packing and storage the price would include proper packing and storage, no? It didn’t even occur to me that a professional service would charge extra for mattress protection. They don’t even bring them on the truck. So I had to go out and buy large format cling film because none of the hardware stores around me had large enough mattress bags. So the guys doing the packing and moving held the mattresses while I wound around them trying to protect and cover them so they wouldn’t get dragged around. I called the management office and asked that they be put into mattress bags before they went into storage for a few weeks. He assured me they would. They were not. One of the beds (brand new) I am now having to have professionally cleaned. But that’s not where it ends. Every box of glassware had at least a quarter of its contents smashed. I no longer have a complete set of any of water or wine glasses. Some as few as two made it. They were packed with cook books sitting on top of the glasses, not the bottom. The cardboard was completely crushed. So I knew it wasn’t going to be good before I even opened them. Additionally boxes were unlabeled and put all over the house. Not the guys fault moving them in. But now I’ve got a bunch of extra work opening boxes up and figuring out where they go. I called the office and he told me and I quote— “well you did move on one of the hottest days of the year.” So, I guess when it’s hot it’s fine if all your stuff is smashed. 🤷🏼‍♀️ A very expensive move that just keeps getting more expensive as I open up more boxes.

So happy we hired Mooney's to help us move. We were impressed by timeliness, cleanliness, and the fact that neither of the homes received a single scratch, and not a single item was even remotely damaged in transit. The core crew was clearly very experienced and it showed. Highly recommend.
