We had a great experience with Motivated Movers locally and will be using them for an upcoming move to another city. Daniel is very knowledgeable and was helpful in giving us advice on supplies and packing. His professionalism swayed us to use them rather than other companies.

Save your money and use a different company. I had high hopes based on the reviews and meeting Daniel, the local Chattanooga manager, that this would be a smooth move. But his team got called to a different job and a Georgia team came work my job. They showed up 3 hours late and then the problems started from there. They blew past the estimated time to complete by four hours and we had to pay almost double the estimated cost. The many careless problems that cost us included, the team brought no tools to dissemble and reassemble our furniture and took hours with one dinky little tool. They were careless dissembling our washer and dryer and sprayed water all over the walls and floors and didn’t tell me. They left the hoses at the old house and then charged me for the 1 hour and 15 minutes it took to drive there and back to get it. And only took 15 minutes off their time for it. They took an hour lunch break and only took off 30 minutes. Then I discovered after the fact they had assembled our bed incorrectly and not bothered to rehook up the hose for the dryer and it was just blowing air in my laundry room until I discovered the mistake. These were just the biggest infractions of carelessness. They broke one of our dining room chairs and haven’t bothered to tell us how we can be reimbursed even though I bought their extra insurance. The only reason I didn’t give them one star is because Daniel apologized multiple times and came out and fixed problems twice. But he also promised they would make it right and have yet to see them attempt to. Please use another company and save yourself the aggravation and money.

I was quoted 370. The final bill was 538 with no explanation for the increase in price. I had called around and got several quotes that were under 400. I went with MM because they were recommended by a friend. I’m very disappointed and I’m out almost 170 dollars that I wasn’t planning to spend on this move.

They did a great job of packing our truck. The only issue we had concern with was one of our TVs. We ended up repacking it ourselves. Also found an end table while unloading that had a hige scratch across the top. We requested 2 people and 3 showed. We had the option to keep the 3rd person and did for an extra $30/hr as he was clearly the "leader/forman" of the crew. They were super friendly and available during the time frame we needed.

First day, Dylan and Jacob came out and were super friendly and got everything loaded up quick. At our new house they ran into an issue of getting the truck up the driveway. Daniel, Quez & Jacob came back Monday and decided to try and back up the driveway and were able to get it most of the way up and got all the furniture out and into the house in under an hour. All of them worked hard and were aware of not hitting walls and doors etc. They didn’t charge me for the 3rd guy on Monday because of the inconvenience of not having the stuff delivered on Saturday. I think I got charged a little more as far as time goes, and for them having to bring a pickup truck on Monday, which I wasn’t made aware of that I’d be charged until they were done. But it was close to a wash with them bringing a third guy and not charging me. All the workers were awesome and did really well.
