I referred this company to my mother-in-law who recently used their services for a move that was less than 2 miles away from original pick up location. Not only were they 2 hours late but ripped her off with ridiculous services charges. $2000 to move a one bedroom apartment. She was charged for 10 hours which was job that should have only taken 3 hours minimum. Not only were the movers late, they're were only 2 movers who came and then left to claim that they were going to get more help but came back with none and were smelling of narcotics (marijuana) once they returned. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL! They charged her card before the actual job was completed and when the $2000 charge didn't go thru they took her belongings that were already on the truck and left remaining furniture in the hallway of pick up location. (someone could have stole her stuff) We reached out to company (Owner/manager Joe) via email and phone and no reply or call back to rectify the situation. When finally able to speak with him he was very rude & arrogant and thought the stunt him and his workers pulled was acceptable. It's not & wont be tolerated. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The BBB has been notified and further actions will be in pursuit as well.

I hired them for a long-distance move. They delivered the stuff 2 months late; most of my furniture were broken. I was quoted the cheapest price, they doubled it as soon as they got my furniture in the truck. After waiting for over a month in an empty house, I purchased most of the furniture I needed new. The owner then had the nerve to tell me that he was going to charge me a couple of thousands extra over the jacked-up price. At this point, I told him I wasn't going to pay him a dime over the last price. DO NOT WALK, RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!

My experience mirrors the previous reviewer. Their front man Sal quotes a low ball rate for me 950 they charged 2600 I cancelled and they refused to refund my deposit. The reason they get good reviews they offer a bribe for a good review

I used this moving company on June 1,2016 to move from Orange County, New York to Dutchess County, NY. I am a single 60 year female and have made big movies 4 times in my life. This was not my first rodeo. This company was the most disingenous company i have ever done business with. First, they sent a crew that was from Yonkers 50 miles away at least . They arrived at 11:30. Who starts a move at 11:30 AM. They tried to charge me for a box to put my TV in, special wrapping to wrap my dining room table which is a 225 pound glass top table and has been moved 4 times from North Carolina to NY to Texas and back and never a chip. These are things i was not tols about on the phone. The ESTIMATER, SAL, never came to my houser to see what I had. He gave me an estimate over the phone as we went room by room. He never told me i needed mattress pads for my mattress of they would not move it. i would have went out and bought my own. Thiers were $25.00 each /king size and i needed 2. These people are gangsters and thugs, I could go on an on and tell how how the estimated quote went from $1,000.00 to $2,300.00 and they would not take my stuff off of the truck until i paid them . I had to call my back at 1 am in the morning, YEAH, they were still moving me at that time and the bank told me to call the police, which I did. I am disputing their payment, I have reported them to the better business bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs. I also am suing them in small claims court. I may not win my case but I want to inconvenience these people for RAPING me !!!!!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE CROOKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The MoveOurStuff movers were prompt and professional. We had to swap out two 6 foot metal file cabinets from New City with two 3 foot wooden credenza file cabinets in Chestnut Ridge. The job went quickly and smoothly. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to anyone!
