I used Moving Assassins to move my daughter out of her 1 bedroom apartment. The 2 young men were very fast and efficient. Got there and was ready to go. Packed the truck in an hour and a half, no damage to her apartment or furniture. Only issue (very small) I had was the time. My contract said Start time 9:30-11:30, and I assumed that was my 2 hour time slot and 9:30 was the time the guys would get here. I got the text earlier in the morning stating the guys would be there between 9-11, they got there around 10:30. Not a huge issue as the guys worked very fast and was done by noon. I would definitely use them again if I’m ever in that area.

Very dissatisfied, we have used them a couple of times. This time was a disaster. They changed the price on the website when i already booked for a certain price, next they show up 3 hours late. Granted we did book the night before but 3 hours is kinda crazy. Then they broke my footboard to my bed and scratched up my head board for my other bed. I tried to make contact but kept getting the run around that they will call back. I am starting to doubt they are insured for the line of work they do. If you break something you fix it. I’d be wary of this company even though the great reviews it can happen to you too.

Didn’t start till 20 minutes into the time (they included in their charge). Broke one of our pieces furniture in half when pulling it out of van. One was on the phone nearly the entire time. Left 6 in total, 1 foot long half an inch wide scratch marks in our living room because they wouldn’t lift the couch into place but instead insisted on using a dolly, then sliding the couches on the floor. Then after all the damage was done they up charged us 200 (for the walk and the extra 45 minutes) on top of the original 300. They said they would call us to discuss the up charge, but then never called and just charged us.

Movers were late but communicative about delays throughout the day. They got our truck unloaded on short notice, but had little regard for us or our stuff. I would not book with this company again in the future.

Please. Save your time and don’t even bother dealing with this company. I was rescheduled >24hrs with 20 mins notice for my move (very much so an inconvenience). The owner communicated nothing to the workers. There was no accountability taken on the part of the extreme unprofessionalism except me being told to basically deal with because of their “terms and conditions”. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend. Had I seen the reviews first I would not have even scheduled with them. Edit: the company owner then unprofessionally replies to the review with lies. 1. You came to the move with a 26ft truck at your own will. My apartment doesn't even have enough stuff to fill up a 17ft truck. Had you crossed you T's and dotted I's during the booking process knowing that you had been communicating with a client for >3months ahead of time, this entire ordeal wouldn't have been an issue. You offered less than $100 discount for a delay that was 30+ hours. That's about a $3/hr savings for who? In the end, take responsibility for your unprofessionalism. Please don't forget that you mess the reputation of other Black owned businesses that are out here recommending you, when you are as unprofessional as you were in this instance.
