The process of getting refunded is absolutely insane. I would give 0 starts if I could. Why should I have to have my settlement notarized out of my own pocket? Why does it have to be notarized at all? The amount of time I took to carefully document every issue that went wrong with my move and the amount of time that went by with not response is alarming. When I did follow up, I got an instant email back with a refund of $60. The damages were well over that. BBB here I come for another review of this slimey company.

Moving Claim Services is dishonest, ethical, and rude. My dispute with Moving Claim Services went on for six months without a resolution. The moving company that hired Ms. Terry Cappuccio‘s company finally fired her and started resolving their own disputes. My complaint was resolved to my satisfaction within a day. Moving companies should beware of Moving Claim Services as they will ruin your reputation. I cannot say enough the dishonest business practices. Ms. Cappuccio states untruths and when confronted, she gets angry and hangs up on you. If you care for the reputation of your company, this is Not the company you want to handle your claims. Just look at her reviews in yelp In Google. Buyer beware.

I can only echo what all of these reviews have to say about Moving Claims Services which has been handling my insurance claim for a household move. A day or two after my move, Moving Claims Services told me I had 30 days to submit a claim which I did for five damaged items. Full documentation, pictures and valuations were included. One of these items was packed by my mover in a box that they charged me for. The other items were too large to box and were packed loose on their truck. None of these items were damaged prior to being put on the their truck, but all sustained damage during the move. After nearly three months, Moving Claims Services rejected the claim basically for two reasons. Reason one was that I had not noted any damage immediately i.e. the day of the move even though I was told I had 30 days to identify damage and submit a claim. The second reason is that my mover claims not to have packed any boxes which is false as I contracted for them to pack specific items, saw them being packed, and was charged for the boxes. Over the last several months I have exchanged numerous letters with Moving Claims Services to no avail. This company’s personnel has an attitude which assumes from the start that you are trying to cheat the system. Their claim that damage must be identified the day of the move was never communicated to me until after I submitted a claim and they continually misrepresented the facts regarding the packing of my goods. Throughout this process, Moving Claims Services was rude and disingenuous. Horrible people to deal with. Don't use any mover which has them as its claims administrator.

If I can give a zero star I would. I was insured under this scam company by my horrible moving company that was picked by my broker and after sending in "claim package" which took me 3 hours to do, they are saying they cannot accept my package because I did not take a picture of the back portion of the paper that does not have anything on it. Just a plain paper! So ridiculous! All this so that they can scam you and not give you back the money from the worst moving company that damaged all my valuable goods!

As you can see from consistently negative reviews and no replies from the business, those people just don't care. My advice to you if you are trying to file a claim with them: Don't even bother, you have already lost your money, don't waste your time. I did try to submit a claim a few times, got confirmation emails only to then find out after a few months that they never received the claim. Tried to submit via email, online, never got an actual person to confirm the receipt, so I gave up.
