From the first phone call to the goodbye was an absolutely outstanding experience. Form the sale side they were so patient to work with my requirements, Saad and Alex were very understanding of every concerns of mine and managed to accommodate me on every single request. On the movers side, the team was led by Alex ( different Alex) who was extremely professional, punctual, respectful of our home, and personal items. Since we had expensive furniture and art work, we were concerned as to how will the team manage the wrapping and transportation of all items. Well I tell you , Alex with his confidence and calm personality gave us such comfort that we not once had to worry about anything. Alex and his team ( team of 4) were so efficient, so pleasant, so professional that if I would have not experienced it myself , I would have not believed it that such company exists. My husband, who is very meticulous about everything was extremely pleased as well. From the onliading to the off loading everything was just smooth and pleasant. There is no reason to look for else for I believe a better moving company does not exist. Thank you great movers for making this stressful time so pleasant for us. God bless you always.

This is my third move with NYC Great Movers, and it's difficult to imagine using anyone else. The team helped me navigate two certificates of insurance in no time flat, and provided me with helpful reminders leading up to the move. (Arguably, I would have dropped the ball and been left hanging on a few fronts had it not been for these reminders.) Fabio and his crew showed up a few minutes early and were busy at work within minutes. They guided me on how to maximize their services without (critically) incurring any more charges than necessary. No one wants to feel nickel-and-dimed, and I was left feeling like I got a bargain. With respect to the move itself, their work was flawless. When I went to unpack in the new residence, the boxes had been logically placed throughout the apartment. (Some services just stack them wherever -- it gets back to attention to detail.) We did have to navigate a challenging parking situation at the new residence, which was out of their control. But everything else was smooth sailing. You really can't underestimate the value of a great moving service for an inherently difficult task. For that, I look forward to turning again to NYC Great Movers (hopefully, not for a few years, though).

I had a really good experience with NYC Great Movers with what was a very difficult move. We were moving mostly vinyl LP records and books from an apartment that no one had been living in for a long time and there were about 85 boxes, shelving+ a few other things. I had had a terrible experience moving books and records a couple of years before with a different moving company because I had packed them in large boxes—the crew took books out of the boxes by their bindings, threw them around and screamed at me. So this time, for the records at least, I made sure to use smaller boxes. There were only 2 guys on the crew which surprised me...Fabio led the crew. These guys were amazing! There was not even a tiny complaint about the records and books and they were carrying 3 to 4 boxes at once!! Both apartments are 4th-floor walk-ups. When we got to my apartment my coop decided to uphold the "no trucks in the driveway" rule that had been ignored in my previous move yet this crew still got it done-- they had to walk downhill the equivalent of a city block to get my stuff to my apartment and it only took them about an hour longer than it would have. They were amazing. FABIO rocks! My only qualm was that the move was scheduled for 9am and the appointment was bungled. So it was moved to 1pm the same day. The move finished quite late. But NYC Great Movers made up for it by cutting some of the extra moving time off of my bill. I would recommend NYC Great Movers to everyone!!

I’ve used NYC Great Movers for two moves within Brooklyn, and both experiences were great. They are more affordable compared to newer moving companies (can only speak on 1-bedroom moves), and they were very communicative leading up to the date. I worked with different teams for each move, but overall, they were fast, thorough, and friendly. Thankfully, there were no damages to my belongings or the buildings. I will be calling them if/when I move again and would recommend them.

NYC Great Movers are the best! This review is long overdue but I’ve used this company twice and had an excellent experience both times. I first used them in 2021 moving apartments within New York City. I most recently used them again in May for a move from New York City out of state to Connecticut. Their communication is excellent and their price is competitive. They are very professional and get the job done efficiently and without issue. They make the moving process less stressful and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone moving in the NYC area!
