I was extremely pleased with MVM. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, within the timeline they gave me, and the price was lower than expected. They handled my possessions with ease and care. The two man crew they sent each day was respectful, courteous, and knowledgeable . Many people I know have used MVM with the same excellent results. Denver and Anthony went above and beyond in helping us move our belongings. They were efficient and careful with our stuff. We had several very large pieces they easily handled. They were friendly and accommodating. This is the 2nd time we've used MVM we highly recommend them.

Maumee Valley Movers did an in town move for us. Everything went smoothly and as expected. Joe provided us with an estimate promptly and was extremely thorough and helpful in orienting us to the process of hiring movers and preparing for our move. The packers were efficient in getting everything ready to go, and the movers, Collin F., Ethan F., Calvin, and Noah SA, were also efficient and conscientious, including with the piano. The only hiccup was an issue with damage to a table, but they were responsive and repaired it in a timely manner. Thanks for making this move as stress-free as possible.

My husband and I moved from Ann Arbor to the Toledo area in August, and we used MVM. Our movers were great! Very knowledgeable, hard-working, and friendly. My only issue with them was that on our second day of two, they did not communicate very well about when we would need to leave in order to give them enough time to unload everything at the new house. It led to some scrambling during the second half of the day, but we made it work! After the move, we realized that our treadmill, which was fully functional in Ann Arbor, was no longer working. We let MVM know and they sent a couple of guys out to look at it. They were unable to fix it but said it was likely that the extra insurance we purchased through the company would help cover a replacement. A few days later we were told that the electrical portion of the treadmill was not covered under the insurance. I guess we should have taken the time to read the policy before signing, but our movers were already on the clock when we were being shown the contract and we did not want to waste time reading. I would definitely consider using MVM in the future because the movers we had were so great, but I would definitely want a copy of available insurance add-ons to examine before moving day. We’re very disappointed that we won’t have a working treadmill for the foreseeable future. 😞
