Urgent do NOT use "Moving Squad" before you read my review, then you can make an intelligent choice and use another moving company! First of all they took advantage of my elderly parents. Moving Squad are crooks and should lose their state licence. I looked into it and most of their 5-star reviews are fake! Moving Squad gave us a quote for a local move and we agreed and I have the contract and photos of everything that they were supposed to move. They raised the price (triple the amount of the contract) after they were half way through the move. When they unloaded the truck they intentionally left pieces of the wall unit and other furniture on the truck until they receive the additional balance. This is one of their little tricks, they hold one part of each bedroom like the dresser and one part of the Livingroom so that none of the furniture would be usable. They broke two cabinets and a desk They lost screws and large parts to a custom $8,900 wall unit and without these pieces of the wall unit, it could not be put together again and It ended up in the trash. They put a large cabinets in a small elevator that clearly should of went up one floor by the stairs and they damaged the elevator causing almost $1,000 in damages. They kept asking for their tip half way through the move. They disassembled furniture when they started and would not put it back together in the new condo if we did not tip them. These are just a few photos of how they left the furniture and we had to pay another company to put all of the furniture together

The Moving Squad was great from the moment I spoke to Camille about a quote to placing my furniture in my new home. Camille was patient with my questions and returned emails and calls from me. I was skeptical after reading reviews from other moving companies. They showed up (Anthony, Carl, and Greg) on time and worked till they got everything in the truck. They were friendly and efficient. I had a pick up one day and delivery the next day. Stefano was very flexible with the time to deliver as my closing was in afternoon. I would certainly recommend the Moving Squad to anyone

DO NOT USE. They gave us movers who dropped and damaged all of our furniture. All of our lamps are broken, brand new furniture is scuffed. Every room in our house now has damaged items and our once pristine home now looks like it is falling apart. We had no choice but to watch as things came into our home in worse condition than they were originally. NOTHING WAS WRAPPED as contracted. They did not properly take apart furniture as contracted. I have a desk I can no longer use to work from home because they did not take it apart as contracted and essentially ripped it into two pieces when they moved it. Then they proceeded to hide the remaining pieces in my garage and we found it after they left even though we directed that furniture to be in a different room. It was intentional. They asked me if my furniture was from IKEA (it’s not) as if cheap furniture was the reason they can’t do their job and things are broken. We called the team out on sloppy work and they told us it’s not their responsibility and to call corporate. ITS NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MOVE MY STUFF SAFELY?!!!!? The damage Moving Squad caused will cost me several times more than the move did to begin with and their customer service DOES NOT CARE. They have not called us back and we moved in May. Don’t even bother with insurance, just STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS IF YOU LIKE YOUR HOME. I will be pursuing legal action for breach of contract.

Had 3 big moves over the past 5 years - had awful experiences with the first 2 companies. We all know moving is not fun but I had such a positive experience with this company that I would highly recommend them. Stefano was amazing at organizing the move and communicating with me! Clevon, Cassidy & Anthony were such caring and curious movers as well as efficient! Thank you!
