The owner, Maurio Barham, quickly responded to my request for an estimate and gave me a very competitive price. Communication with Maurio and his wife Rachel was great throughout the process. On moving day, the two young men facilitating my out-of-state move (Joshua and Reggie) arrived promptly, actually ten minutes early. They were polite, professional, and loaded my furniture with no damage to walls or my possessions. The same on the unloading side. I would highly recommend Mr. Moving, LLC and his team for your next move.

Money hungry moving company. The husband Mario is very aggressive and rude. This man has serious anger issues, I never want to encounter a human being like him again. Their movers will try to run up your time, by taking forever because you’re being billed by the hour. Save your money and go somewhere more reputable. If you read the honest reviews other ppl have had similar experiences. Since I can't reply to the passive aggressive response under my review here is my edit. Edit: You have been accused of price gouging, and dragging your feet (it’s literally in the other reviews, that just shows how much this company lies) so unprofessional. My situation is not isolated. My only regret is not reading the real reviews before I used this moving company and will never again even if it was free. If you read the real reviews after you get passed the fake ones, multiple people have tallked about the misleading prices and his movers purposely wasting time to run up the tab. Even your workers admitted our their own mouths, my move shouldn't have taken so long. I was moving out of a one bedroom apt, with everything already packed, into another one bedroom less than 4 miles away, it took them over 8 hours almost 9. They sent two 40 year olds, who kept trying to ask me about my life the entire time. I had to say I had a boyfriend for him to stop asking me personal questions (unprofessional). Later on that same mover even said "If it was my company, I would have given you a discount " , took responsibility and then said "this move shouldn't have taken so long". He got intimidated when I asked him to repeated to his boss Mario. Mario is dishonest and a vile man Period. one of the movers kept trying to convince me to call him and his mom for cleaning services , and assembly outside and then to come the next day outside of this disgusting company (advertising him and his moms clean service). Again save your money and go elsewhere these people are terrible and unprofessional. Mario raised his voice so much to me his wife had to take the phone. rest assure even though, she didn't raise her voice much, she joined him in the gaslighting. Mind you I'm 24 years old, and the man is in his mid 40s screaming on the top of his lungs like a lunatic man child. He thought his screaming would intimidate me, like he intimidates his employees. Like I said he needs professional help. They did not deliver on service at all because going into the 9th hour, i told them to just stop, because it was beyond ridiculous. I had to move the rest of the stuff seen in the picture, into the appt by myself because they left it on the sidewalk because they still needed more time after 9 hours. If you need that much time to move a one bedroom apartment, with limited furniture, then you need to reevaluate your speed because it embarrassing. Save your money. Here is a picture of all my stuff, This was taken the night of the move at my new apt. it was literally nothing since I was getting all new furniture. This move was less than 4 miles and cost over $1,000. In no world does that make sense, no matter how you put it. During the consolation Mario was a whole different person, and even mention how they've only taken 5 hours for a whole house, so it would take less time for a one bedroom apt. As you can see from the picture, I didn't have a lot of things, there movers kept stopping and were unprofessional and said they were overworked, since they had just came back from another job. Kept complain about how they hadn't eaten to the point where I just ordered them a couple boxes of pizza. The response to my comment just shows how unprofessional and passive aggressive these people are. A sassy grown “man”. . service WAS trash. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The reading comprehension is clearly lacking too because where did I mention damage to my items , I mention your disgusting temper, taking over 8 hours to move BARELY any furniture because I was planning on buy all new sets, and overall unprofessional. We hired MR Moving to move my mother-in-law from an independent apartment in Henrico to our home in Chesterfield. We were extremely pleased with the services provided. Everyone that we worked with was professional and friendly. When we had an unexpected change come up, they were accommodating and flexible. Those that packed and moved were very careful with the furniture and belongings, efficient in their work and super nice to work with. The price was reasonable. We highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

Our move was not the easiest in the world, but the employees at Mr Moving took it in stride. All were not only professional but fun to be around. They take pride in their work and handle your furniture with the expertise that you would expect but rarely get from most moving companies. I hope I never have to move again, but Mr Moving will be my first call if I do. I can’t begin to give them enough praise. Job well done guys and gals! This is the company to contact especially for short-notice moves. The two men who provided their skill in moving my family friend's belongings into an assisted-living facility were courteous, careful, respectful of the belongings, and professional in every respect. I intend to use them again and have already shared their company's cards with others who may be in similar situations. I had exactly one week to find our friend a new place to live since she was being discharged from a medical facility, and the company owner understood my dilemma when we spoke on Saturday morning. His team arrived promptly on Monday morning to help me out and did an amazing job. They were angels!
