I used these movers to relocate me and honestly I felt like they were cool. They were complaining under their breath about the move and my items. I brushed it off. The owner told me I didn't have to tip if I didn't want to. However the team kept talking about tips so I gave them some money to split and they complained. Moving did cost and money was tight. I brushed it off but they broke my ring light and I messaged them because my light cost me $100. I reached out and the owner ignored me but was on me about the Zelle. They are money hungry and really do not care about their customers. My honest review. However they say you get what you pay for.

Scheduled with this team for help with moving large items out of a pod, up-stairs to floor 2 and into my apartment. I only had a couple of things (bed, dresser, rugs, some mirrors and a large TV), which took them about 20 minutes to move. They all were professional and shook my hand upon arriving, quick and didn't scratch or bang anything. I came from out-of-state so don't know anyone to ask for help for only a couple of items and had to hire it out. They do have a 2-hour minimum, which was told to me upfront, so it is more expensive if you have a small move. Overall, good experience!

This service doesn’t deserve the ratings it’s gotten. I put my trust in the company to load my containers properly and instead they f-ed up the job, and what makes it worse is I think they did it on purpose. The company perfectly embodies its namesake, “Muscle for Hire”, cause they operate like a couple of thugs.
Initial they seem very pleasant, but don’t be fooled. They act this way just to get the job. The manager is very polite and even his movers are at the start, but as time progressed they became increasingly passive aggressive.
Throughout the initial process, prior to the appointment, repeatedly the manager would backtrack on his promises. He promised he’d be here to supervise his employees, but he never bothered to show up. These things wouldn’t have been as significant if his employees did a good job, but apparently they need someone to hold their hands.
Some of the employees initial actions were highly suspicious as well. I hired them to fill portable storage containers aka pods. So I was a bit perturbed when they pulled up in a U-Haul truck that they didn’t need to fill and when they left the truck’s trailer backed up behind the trailer, wide open behind the containers. It’s like they don’t understand people are trusting them to move their personal affects and belongings; and how important it is to be sensitive of that. To be cautious, I politely asked them about it and they told me they used it to carry their dollies and other equipment. The reasons seemed to be reasonable enough, but they took the question as a personal insult and then spent the rest of the visit making snide passive aggressive condescending remarks whispered under the breath. In truth, I think they purposely engage in actions designed to provoke the customer and use the customers concern to accuse them of racism and then as an excuse to act petty. Among the most petty things they did was that they purposely left so much empty space in the container and placed large pieces of furniture in a way that make it impossible to reach and properly fill the unused spaces with boxes.
On top of that, one guy stunk of cigarette smoke. I mean he reeked of it. It was impossible not to smell when you were around him. They played their personal music for the entire job for everyone to hear without asking if it was ok. I politely didn’t say anything cause I thought the music would make their job easier, but after all the disrespect it became too much and apparently it didn’t help them to work any better.
Also the employees attempted to cut and run before the job was finished by getting another family member to pay them before they were finished. Fortunately the family member called me before hand. I almost get the impression that they were spooked by a bunch of Arlo security cameras that were installed throughout the property, which apparently they had just noticed. I’m not sure why they would be so spooked by a bunch of security cameras.
The manager, who I had to call because he never showed up to the appointment, refused to address his employees mistakes and behavior. Instead he made excuses for them even lying to me about how well they packed the containers (I sent him a pic of the job they did). The manager also refused to reimburse us for the moving bag that was damaged during the move because of how roughly their employees were handling the bags. Remember, you get what you pay for.
