SHOULD BE 0 STARS! DISRESPECTFUL AND SHADY BUSINESS OPERATIONS! BEWARE!!! I am HIGHLY disappointed with My 3 Sons Moving Company in Richmond, KY!! First, they do not handle their business properly. They made verbal agreements that they could not back up and they made up outrageous amounts that they say I owe them without providing an explanation! In July, 2023, my ex hired My 3 Sons in Lexington, KY to move us to Louisville, KY. The new place we were to go to fell through. So, office manager, Brittany (also the owner's daughter), made a verbal agreement with my ex that they would store all of our stuff in their warehouse until we found a place. Things then became a big mess! My ex didn't follow-up with them, so in October, 2023, I called Brittany, stepped in and said I would be taking over. Her and I came to an agreement that I could pay them $3000 CASH-ONLY to get all of our stuff. *Note: I did not have to do any of this because my ex hired them and only he signed the contract. Finally, in the beginning of March, 2024, my mom, myself, and new movers I hired in Dayton, OH, made the trip to Richmond, KY to get everything (after 8 months of storage). The morning we showed up at My 3 Sons is when I realized that I had forgotten the $3000 cash in my safe at home, in Dayton. Drat! I'm only human! When Brittany showed up that morning, I explained and begged her if I could please pay her a different way? She said no, she demanded CASH ONLY. Mom & I almost cried over her being so unreasonable, but we left and found a way to gather the cash. When we returned, one of the new movers that I had hired told me of his interaction with Brittany. He had asked her where they would need to park when we were ready to load up. Brittany then snapped at him saying "That is none of your business!" and told him to get off the property! I proceeded to take the cash in, politely hand it to Brittany, and asked for a receipt. She had to create an invoice right then, but wanted me to give her the cash first. I said that I'd prefer to receive the invoice first since things were starting to get a bit sticky. She then got all worked up and said "What? It's getting sticky because YOUR mover came in here and harassed me?!" I replied that I didn't appreciate that. She then raised her voice to me and said "I'm done with you! You need to leave the property. Now". Excuse me, but is that the way they handle their business and customers?? Well, next I discovered that they DID NOT store our stuff in their warehouse as Brittany said they would. Instead, they stored it outside, in 2 broken-down 26' trailers, behind their business, right next to the dumpsters and torn up appliances that were being discarded. Note: we were not informed or allowed to see any of this until Brittany had her cash-in-hand. Once the main trailer was opened, we noticed standing & dripping water throughout. The trailer must have leaked which caused severe water and mold damage! (Remember all those severe storms?) Everything on that trailer had to be trashed! The second trailer wasn't as bad, but still had mildew damage. I had to trash most of that, too. I took many pictures and a few videos of everything (even when we took it all to the local dump the next day). Anyway, I asked for a refund of my $3000 cash, but was refused and told that I could call the cops, which I did, but they couldn't do anything. I then followed the company's time frame and sent them my complaint, explaining everything, along with the pictures and videos within 72 hours. I got no response. Ten days later, I sent a follow-up. The owner, David, then responded saying that I still owed them over $13,000!! How the heck they came up with that amount, I will never understand! I sent a message back saying that my $3000 cash covered everything and I had a receipt to prove that. I heard nothing back after that. I am now hiring a lawyer to sue My 3 Sons Moving. I am looking to be reimbursed for all items, pain, suffering and hardship for all the anguish this situation has caused and cost.

Everything was great! From the lady that helped me with my reservations to set up the move to the movers. I want to specifically brag on the crew that helped my Mother move out today Damian, Dalton and , Simmy. They were very professional, polite, respectful, careful not to break anything, organized. Outstanding! I appreciate all their help. Highly recommend My 3 Sons Moving!

My daughter needed to move a small amount of furniture from Richmond, Kentucky to Columbus, Ohio. From the very first phone call I made to the company, the ladies in the front office were so friendly and accommodating, and willing to work with me and potentially save me money by, asking very specific questions about what types and how much furniture will be moved. They quoted an initial price, but once they heard that the amount of furniture being moved was less, they dramatically reduced the price, which was very nice. Exceptionally friendly. The two gentlemen who helped my daughter move , extremely professional, friendly, and very gentle with all of her furniture and personal items, including clothes, dishes, etc. We could not be happier with My 3 Sons moving, and if our life experiences happen to involve the Richmond Kentucky area again, we would absolutely be certain to call My 3 Sons moving without hesitation. They are the best moving company I have ever worked with.

This was our first experience with hiring movers to help us load U-Haul. I had scheduled with a different company 3 weeks ahead of time. I signed up for 11 o’clock as our start time . At first contact with movers they ask if I can do 1230 due to work . The day before I get a call that it will be closer to 1 when they arrive and the day of the move they change to 2 and tell me they will be on their way-which is 2 hours away. I call My 3 Sons Moving and they have a crew there in about 20 min! In the mean time the first company driver cancels on me ! So I am so grateful for My 3 Sons Moving! The movers worked so hard and quickly to move furniture-down stairs to truck. If you are near the Richmond Ky this is the place and people to use!

The moving guys were absolutely the best! Very mannerly and respectful to me and to my belongings. They kept a constant pace and worked hard. Their attitudes were so upbeat and friendly. I highly recommend My 3 Sons Moving. They won’t disappoint you!!!
