My experience with NM Van Lines has been nothing short of first rate. Kurt came to my home to perform the initial survey. Unlike other experiences I had, he prepared a real estimate of what the job would cost, not a "worst case scenario" that clearly inflated the total cost. He was also willing to share some tips from his years of experience to let me know how much I could help to keep the costs down. The packers, Eppie and Esther, have been in this industry for over 35 years each, and it was easy to see what first rate pros they were. They cared for my home contents as well or better than I do! Better than that, you won't find a nicer couple anywhere. 5 Stars All The Way!

This company moved us from New Mexico to Tennessee. Our overall experience was positive. The representative that gave us our quote, Brandon, was pleasant but not responsive at all to calls/attempts to communicate ans he overestimated our move by several thousand pounds. This was not a problem in the end, as they end up charging you based on the weight of the truck. The most negative part of the move was with the packers. They did not do a good job with packing. Things were thrown into boxes randomly(I found an electric can opener thrown on top of clothes on a wardrobe box). One packer who literally only worked for about 2 hours arrived to my home with an attitude when I was directing him which items needed to be packed in the garage. He was lazy. We paid big bucks for this move (22k). Attitude like this is unacceptable. The guys who physically moved items from the house into the truck were awesome. They were hard working, professional and pleasant. The movers in Tennessee (out of Memphis) were equally good. The estimates delivery date was way off and our stuff arrived almost 2 weeks after the truck was packed. We moved our stuff into a storage unit in Tennessee, so I haven’t unpacked the boxes to fully relay the condition of the items on this end.

My friends were having a lot of trouble finding a Company that would honor their word and show up for the job on the date promised. It required being part of a truck from NM to the East Coast and filling it with belongings from a small apartment which would be delivered to the East Coast. I was the contact at this end in NM. NM Van Lines named the date, came on the day, at that time and were a pleasure to work with. They had to pack up some of the belongings and load the truck with everything. They were careful, fast and professional. They were upbeat and considerate the whole time which took just 4 hours. I heard that everything arrived in the East coast and even on the early side of their time line. Everything went great at the destination as well. with the unloading. Another good experience with lovely people! I highly recommend NM Van Lines and also Ron Martinez and his team! Thank you so much!

I would highly recommend New Mexico Van Lines, who unloaded our belongings from a cross country move. They took great care with our boxes, furniture and our new home. They carefully covered all of our wood floors to prevent damage, they were careful not to scoff or bang walls, they put everything where it belonged and even pointed out very minor damage that occurred to a small plant stand in transit. They were patient with me checking off each item and were very pleasant and respectful during the whole process despite single digit temperatures, lots of heavy book boxes and having to carry everything up our uphill driveway. They were all very conscientious and had a great work ethic. Thank you Rick, Jose, Bobby and Isiah. It was a pleasure to meet you all!

After they signed my up it was the worst experience of my life. From lack of contact on the days before the move to verify it was occurring to being threatened twice by the driver (on both ends) that he was going to drive away with my stuff this was a horrible moving experience. The driver left so quickly I didn't get a chance to look in the truck and he left with some of my stuff - and didn't put together my bed frame.....will never use them again.
