I am so happy with the service. I was having trouble getting my couch down this narrow hallway with two 90 degree angles. My neighbors even offered help and we had 5 people at one time trying to move this couch. We couldn’t get it in, and we left it in the 2nd floor hallway overnight. Today, I was looking up ways to saw my couch in half (I was getting desperate), when I saw an article that said most professional movers know how to get furniture pass tight corners. This was the first moving service I saw, and also the closest (right downtown GR). They were able to fit me in their schedule and come within a few hours of my call. They also did it for a very reasonable price. Carl, the gentleman that came to help me, was probably one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. He was very positive and optimistic we could get the couch in, and we did! I recommend this service to anyone moving to or from Grand Rapids.

I’m so grateful I found New Neighbor’s. I recently moved and made the mistake of using college hunks who I literally had to babysit. I had to move again 3 months later and New Neighbors were on time, polite, and careful with my possessions! And reasonably priced too!I’d hire or recommend them to anyone! They came in and even set up my bedroom and living room as I directed. They asked me where I wanted things set up and did it perfectly. The owner, Jason, is hands on and actually did the move with Doug. I also love being able to support a small local business versus a corporate chain. You won’t regret using these guys!

Used New Neighbors Moving to move a 10 x 10 storage unit contents back to my home. They were a bit early for the scheduled time which was wonderful as the day was expected to be warm, and not having to wait for service like a lot of places will give a large window for service. Very professional movers and completed the job in less than the estimated time, which saved me money in my budget. Would definitely use this company again.
