Capital City Movers, should not be in the moving business. We had all boxes marked, heavy, fragile, glass and this end up. I showed the crew the markings (big bold lettering) that many boxes were fragile and needed to be on top of the boxes that were heavy or large. They loaded the 26’ truck and I thought they would be careful and respect our concerns about fragile/glass items. Upon getting to our destination another company started unloading the truck and called me up into the cargo area. They said did you hire someone to load the truck and I said yes. They then showed me the extremely unprofessional loading job. Many of the most marked fragile and glass marked boxes were on the bottoms of the stacks, with heavy to very heavy boxes on top. More than half of the fragile boxes were crushed, causing damage to the items inside. I could not believe what I was seeing. It’s unknown what the extent of damage that they caused at this time. I have been documenting with photos all the boxes. Very unhappy customer. Do not hire this company if you want your belongings damaged and destroyed by incompetent movers. They were absolutely amazing! We moved my mom from Missouri to Trxas. They took extra care in moving my mother's things. I will be using them again on our next move. If I had 100 stars I would have given them. AMAZING! One very happy customer.

I had the most pleasant experience working with Steve at CapCity Movers in Jan 2024! He was very communicative (even on weekends / late hours) and arrived early for my scheduled move on a busy Saturday…how often does that happen?! I had a small 1-bed, 1-bath apartment and he handled my items with care taking the time to safely load the Uhaul pod and storage unit in an efficient manner while also taking the time to be cautious. Thank you, Steve for a wonderful move and for making my life easier. I will be hiring him again in a few months for another move and would recommend him to family and friends.
