North Point Movers Info | Compare Moving Quotes

Northpoint Movers moved my furniture in Oct. of 2022 from Georgia to Florida. Three pieces were broken beyond repair. Almost every piece of furniture had scrapes or scratches. Six medium size nicknacks were broken, two beyond repair. My furniture was loaded on a truck, taken somewhere and moved to another truck the next day prior to being delivered to Florida. I have called several times and no one will respond to my calls. I sent a Certified letter with 25 pictures and Northpoint did not claim the letter. I trusted them with my household goods and I thought they were professional movers.

Unprofessional, sloppy, bare minimum service. They were scheduled to help us move from 12-2 on 8/28/23. My roommate took off of work in order to accommodate their window and make sure he would be available. When 2pm rolled around, they changed to 4pm. Then they cancelled on us all together because “the previous client took way longer than expected,” so he wasted that PTO. Unacceptable. If you have 2 services that close together, then you should have 2 teams available in the event one appointment runs over. Or you need to tell the other client that their time is up and they will have to rebook- which is still unprofessional and unfair to the other client. The only reason we did not cancel on them to show up first thing the next day is because our old lease is up 9/1 so we needed items moved when we planned for. When my roommate asked for a discount on the service (which they should have done automatically as a courtesy), all they could offer was discounting a mattress cover my roommate did not request, nor was told about beforehand. Lastly, our living room was wide open and prepped to have the furniture placed. Plenty of space to lay it out neatly. Instead, the movers pretty much dumped our pieces wherever with no rhyme or reason. Parts of my roommate’s bed frame were left upright in the middle of the room, just a foot or so from the ceiling fan (my cat did find it fun for a minute before I moved it for her own safety). Do yourself a favor and use a different service.

So, some of this bad experience was miscommunication...... I don't recommend this moving company to anyone unless you want an incomplete job and items to be broken. Pictures speak 1,000 words. The pics attached show a very small amount of the damage they caused to my things. They didn't even move that much.

I've moved many times and used many moving companies and North Point Movers has by far been the best. Not only did they quote me the cheapest price around town, but also moved my belongings in the most professional manner. The guys showed up on time, were quick and efficient, and not a single item was damaged/scratched during the move. These guys take professionalism in moving to the next level!! Definitely recommend!!

SO glad we called North Point Movers for an additional quote. They came in well below the first company we called, and nobody could have done better! JR was prompt and considerate from the first point of contact all the way through the move and to follow up afterwards. The crew. Oh that wonderful crew! Adrian, Eli and Eduardo were stunningly spectacular! Stayed in touch to let us know they were on the way to start and all day. So careful and quick. Adrian was a master at getting the full-sized truck down our long, winding and steep driveway! HIGHLY recommend North Point and definitely will call them if/when we move again!
