We have a big, beautiful, antique piano and wanted to move it to a new location. O’Brien’s Moving & Storage was our #1 choice! What a gem this company is! We spoke with Luke O’Brien and he handled everything so professionally! I was a little nervous because of the age and size of the piano. Luke assured me that there would be enough guys to move it seamlessly. They came on time and moved our old piano with the utmost care and respect. They truly treated it as if it were their own. Our piano got delivered and set up, in its new home, without a scratch. I highly recommend O’Brien’s Moving & Storage for any moving needs. They are a wonderful company to work with! I would give them more stars if I could.

This company is like the typical moving company-- not that great and, in my experience, untrustworthy. My overall experience with them was mixed. We hired O'Brien's to move our 4-bedroom house into a moving trailer that we rented from another company. We packed everything ourselves, so O'Briens just needed to wrap all of the furniture and pack everything into the trailer. My one star is for the insurance claim that was denied. I filed an insurance claim for damage done to the home while they were working. The lesson to learn is that they are very motivated to deny any insurance claim unless you have clear proof-- like taking a video of their crew or you witness the damage as it happens. If you are like me when I was booking a moving team, you are reading these reviews thinking... 'well, you can't really rely on any moving company to honor an insurance claim, so I'm not that concerned with that part.' (I wouldn't have filed the claim if it weren't for thousands of dollars in damage.) If the insurance claim issue had not happened, I would give them two or three stars. My experience with the quality of their work is like my experience with other moving companies-- very mixed. Our main concern was that the furniture was wrapped well. Three men showed up on the crew, and the quality of the work seems to be down to the person that did it. About 1/3 of the furniture was wrapped really very well. About 1/3 was about half wrapped, and about 1/3 wasn't wrapped at all and was put onto the trailer without any protection. We have two leather lounge chairs. One was wrapped perfectly and arrived like it had never been touched. One was not wrapped at all. It has a gash down the side and the leather is permanently scuffed all over. Our white couch was put on the trailer with no wrapping. Let me say that again our *white couch* was put on the trailer with no wrapping. Luckily it wasn't torn, but the fabric has permanent marks and stains from the black truck grease and dust that won't come out. And so on. The trailer was packed pretty tightly, which is a good thing, but they didn't care if heavy stuff was on top, so when it was unloaded, one of the guys doing the unloading was injured because heavy stuff fell on him. I cannot recommend this company. The quality of their work is not worth the risk.

Extremely happy with the moving experience. The moving team showed up on time, friendly and polite. They did a wonderful job moving our boxes and furniture to the new location. We moved a three bedroom home and I could not be more pleased with the employees who assisted with the move. Highly recommend O’Brien moving for your move.

The company i work for hired these guys to move our office ( locally might i add) and it was a total disaster not to mention a very expensive disaster. Not what we signed up for at all. Lazy and not efficient at all. We did most the work and still need more work done. Clearly not a reliable company. I do not recommend this company to anyone who has a business. They would be good for apartments or small houses. Workers made jokes about how much we spent on this and laughed it off. Most of them stated how much they didn't want to do the job. If you want a good moving company don't pay these guys., your better off doing it yourself.

Selling your home is a stressful experience, even after you have done it more than once and selecting a mover can be equally challenging. We interviewed four local mover’s and each had great qualities but O’Brien’s Moving & Storage immediately stood out. We were fortunate enough to initially work directly with Luke O’Brien and he couldn’t have been a better partner on our move. His flexibility created a real sense of confidence in our move and when the first offer on our home fell through he indicated that he was available when the time came. Fortunately for us, we received an offer shortly after the first offer fell through and once again Luke and the team were fully engaged. We worked day to day with Janet and Christa, amazing service, great sense of humor and such incredible patience. We had a lot of questions, had to execute the move quickly and we moved to a building with serious moving protocols and security. We were fortunate to have Wyatt and Caesar packing our home, loading, transporting our belongings to our new home then unloading us. They were on time and did a professional job, all in record time It all went off flawlessly, the building staff at our new location were equally impressed with Wyatt and Caesar they had us unloaded in short order. Moving is a stressful, detailed process and you need an engaged partner to take the mystery and as much of the aggravation out as possible, O’Brien’s is that partner.
