So, let me tell you a story about two movers Devin and Jarrett, but before I do let me give you some background. I live out of state and my father passed away so I had one week to come to Florida and do everything. Nothing and I mean nothing had been going easy....that was until I contacted Village Movers. On short notice they provided me a quote and a three day window to choose from to get everything moved from his assisted living apartment to the house in The Villages. Now, I'm no stranger to moving. As a government contractor I have lived in 7 states in the last 8 years so needless ro say, I have some experience. First, let me say that they arrived on time and got IMMEDIATELY to work with minimal guidance. Since I had very little time to pack there was a lot that still needed to be taken apart, wrapped, and covered. Guess what...they did it! Here's the best part, they did it as an inclusive part of the original estimate. If you don't have much moving experience this may not seem extraordinary, but I can't tell you how many times "the other guy" moving company has nickel and dimed me to death over "big" items or things they had to be disassembled or then reassembled later. As you can see in the pictures this was not a small bed or move. It was a king size bed that has electronics for the mattress. They disassembled it at the apartment, took out the old bedroom set at the house and then reassembled the bed and made sure everything was working properly. Again, all this as part of the original estimate. I've also had teams of movers come out and clearly they did not work well together, but these two guys did. There's an old quote by Maya Angelou that says, "People will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel." In a time of tragedy and grieving these guys made me feel less stressed and allowed me to just be while they did their job. I have nearly 500,000 views of my reviews and so I give fair and deserving stars and comments. You can be assured that the five stars I have given here was not a reflex, but a very deliberate and deserving recommendation. I cannot be more emphatic that with all the bait and switch companies out there, if you go to anyone but Village Movers you are taking an unnecessary risk. From now on for me it will be Village Movers all the time, everytime!

Village Movers and Storage are an amazing company to work w and using them to help us move, was the best decision we made. Well worth every penny. Ryan, KJ & Jet were the 3 men assigned to move our stuff out of a POD and into the garage. Then they emptied our storage unit, putting our stuff in a truck and then transferred it to our new house and into our garage. They were courteous, hard working & willing to place items exactly where I needed them to go. It was an absolute privilege to work w them. I highly recommend that you use them to make your move a lot less stressful.
