Never again. These movers not only moved slow as snails so they could make more, they put 2 gashes in the walls of my new home! Didn’t realize it until today when I had to move the dresser for something. The walls were perfect before since this is a newly built home that underwent a ton of inspections before we closed. Movers come then suddenly there’s 2 big holes behind where they put my daughter’s dresser. The dresser has not been moved since they were here. They also brought a mover with them that had a black shut eye and he couldn’t see well enough. Had the audacity to ask for a tip after careless slow work. Would not recommend!

I called Spry Movers on July 22, 2023 to schedule a move for the following month. They took down my information and told me I'd get a call back. The next day, I got a call from a man named Garrett who was very courteous and got me scheduled for a convenient date, let me know the cost, and took a $100 deposit. A couple days before the scheduled move date, he called to confirm that we were still on for Sunday, and I said yes. He told me to expect the movers to show up at 9 am, and that they'd call me up to an hour in advance to let me know they were on their way. 9 am came and went, with no call and no movers. I finally called Garrett's number back to ask what was going on. The woman who answered took all my information down again and said I'd get a call back. 20 minutes later, a man called and told me that "a couple of the movers" never showed up and that he was looking for replacements. As he was about to hang up on me, I said, "wait wait, can I get a time estimate?" He said, "at least two hours" and hung up. Two hours came and went, and I heard nothing, so I called back. First I tried to call the man back, but only got his voicemail. He didn't respond to the voicemail I left. Then I tried calling the number back that Garrett had called from. They needed all my information again. I let them know how urgent it was that we get the move done on that day. I had spent the whole weekend packing and, as someone who works from home, could no longer do my job the next day until my stuff was moved/unpacked. They said they "sent out an urgent message" and to expect a call back. An hour came and went, still nothing. After yet another call, I *finally* heard back from a woman named Olivia, who works for a different company (Gorilla Movers). So Spry must have contracted the job out to someone else without telling me, probably because they knew they couldn't fulfill their obligation to me and would be in deep trouble if I lost my job over it. I was 1000000% ready to sue them if nobody showed: you took a deposit, I suffered damages, we had an oral contract. Absolutely horrendous experience all around. If you can afford to pay a deposit and have nobody show up on moving day, by all means call Spry. Otherwise, I'd suggest calling literally anyone else.

Duncan and his colleagues handled the entire relocation with efficiency and competence. We are really grateful to him for his assistance in moving into our first new house and we definitely recommend Spry Movers. The three flights of stairs and the large pieces of furniture proved to be a challenge, but they dealed it. You won't find lower costs anywhere else.

Ive done 14 moves with the military and these guys are absolutely the worst. Messed up my furniture and my new place. Charged me for 3 hours and only did 2 hours and still had to nerve to to ask for a tip. Avoid this outfit if you can. These guys are absolutely unprofessional. . Ive

It was a great experience! I've never used a moving company in my entire life. We have had family or friends help in the past. It was great the response that I received from spry movers because I actually had another moving company set up and then they informed me two days before the moving day that they overbooked....UNBELIEVABLE! S o it was very stressful! I was actually very impressed both of my movers showed up on time... I won't give names but first initial C. And G. I really only needed them for about an hour to move the heavy stuff but with the 3 hr. minimum it worked out nicely as they helped carry clothes down from closets, empty out the pantry and then carry. boxes/various other things down that made it a lot easier. They had great attitudes and never denied a request or complained. They moved at a steady pace so it's not like they were slowly milking the 3 hours. I took their business cards because I'm in portfolio management and I would definitely recommend them.
