Ormond Moving Storage Info | Compare Moving Quotes

I needed a piece of furniture picked up and dropped off at my house. I contacted Ormond Moving and storage as it was close to the pick up location, they were able to complete the task the next day for a reasonable price. They called me the morning of the delivery to confirm the pick up and drop off times, within 2 hrs my new couch was sitting in the front room. Great guys and very efficient I will definitely use their services again.

We hired Ormond Moving & Storage to move my Mom from Ormond to St Johns. Moving can be so stressful, but Carmine made it easy with upfront and clear pricing. Ed and Anthony arrived on time and helped my Mom, who had never used movers before, feel comfortable. These guys are great, and I highly recommend using them for your move.

Update***** Unfortunately after I started unpacking I found numerous items damaged and contacted David Headley to file a claim a few days after the move. I was sent a damage claim form which I filled out and returned promptly and was advised the matter would be handled promptly.. well that was in October 2023 and to date (06/28/2024) it has not been resolved even though numerous times I was advised it would be..I even received a call from David at one point advising me a check was being issued within a few days and as soon as it was he would send me a picture and let me know it was on its way......He added at that point how usually they payout claims by the weight but they were going to make an allowance for me and pay dollar value. Why on earth would I be reimbursed by weight?? Like they were doing me a favor?? I wasn't charged for the move by weight? I am now not receiving responses at all and still haven't received a penny. Some of the items broken were crystal stemware that was 44 years old and given to me as a wedding gift...I actually packed this very carefully in a separate small box with Styrofoam sleeves and bubble wrap that I intended to carry myself but somehow it got swooped up and I was assured it would be fine on the truck :( In addition after the fact I found additional items damaged and a missing item which I did not go back and add to original damage form in fairness to them since it wasn't reported on original form. I made them aware of this as well but still nothing. Based on my experience I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I still plan on pursuing other avenues to collect my damages but its really sad that it had to get to this point when it could have been resolved so easily like they promised it would be over and over. The whole moving experience was great from start to finish. David was easy to work with getting everything scheduled and the movers were prompt, courteous and professional. They moved along quickly, and had me moved out and into my new home in no time.

The team of movers were incredible, they got us done quickly and efficient. They were all very polite and handled everything with care. True definition of professionals.
