I was searching online for some day labor to help pack and move my household when I came across Our Family Moving and Storage of Fort Lauderdale. I was pleasantly surprised when a real person answered the phone—something you don’t see much of these days! They were engaging and low-pressure, and although they didn’t offer day labor, they explained their full-service package, which included bringing all necessary materials and carefully packing all my household items at a very reasonable cost. They promptly sent someone to my house at no cost to prepare an estimate, and I received a written proposal shortly after. I appreciated that they don’t use day labor; instead, all workers are full-time, well-trained, and experienced employees of the company. The day before the move, they called to confirm all arrangements, and on the morning of the move, Chris called about 15 minutes before arrival to confirm their timing. Right on time, Chris, Ryan, and Wendy showed up, and from that moment on, they took charge. They were happy, friendly, courteous, and incredibly respectful of me and my property. They worked seamlessly as a team and were incredibly efficient—before I knew it, everything was packed and loaded into my leased container. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Our Family Moving and Storage for a stress-free move!

They were courteous, friendly and super careful with all of my belongings. Her move was stress free. They even sang happy birthday to her! She highly recommends Our Family Moving and Storage. These guys were the best! I had been dreading the whole moving process and had heard so many horror stories about movers, but they were highly rated on yelp, so I gave them a call. John answered all of my questions and told me about their company philosophy and approach, including no subcontractors, W-2 employees only, which was very reassuring. Joey came out to inspect my property that would be moved and gave me a binding quote for the loading, hauling, delivery and offload, plus a separate line item for packing all of my stuff. They were excellent in their communication up to the move, including about a change in the load, since I decided to swap some of the large pieces furniture to bring others instead. The crew that came to pack and load was awesome. I was a disorganized wreck and Jeremiah, the crew lead, talked me off the ledge several times. In the end, he and the other 4 guys, Anthony, Antonio, Chris, and Tim, were fast, thorough, efficient, and kind. They wrapped my furniture and other things like it was their own. The delivery was on time the next day with a crew of 4 including one new guy, Lyon, and they made sure everything was where I wanted it, they took away all the wrappings they had removed in the process. The total cost was $100 LESS than the quote! I hope to never have to move again, but if I do, I will call Our Family Moving and Storage. They are the best.
