At first I thought this was going to be a company that I would be able to trust and do business with for years to come. Sure they will help you get your money back when some random company you've never heard of charges you for some product or service that you never ordered or received. The first time only! Let me explain. A company I've never heard of by the name of checkfreezco charged $1.99 to my account on August 23 which I didn't catch right away so they got that money. Then 4 days later on August 27th checkfreezco fraudulently charged $29.95 to my account. I didn't catch these charges to my account until the following day on August 28th checkfreezco fraudulently charged my account a third time. This third fraudulent charge was also for $29.95. At this time I noticed the missing money and look into it and saw the two other charges. So now I have three fraudulent charges that I have never even heard of the company who was charging me and have not received any type of service or product from this company. I contacted PayPal about the situation. I filled out three different complaints, one for each fraudulent charge. PayPal seemed to be great. They refunded my money from all 3 transactions and I was under impression that it was over at that point. Until this morning. I received message from PayPal that decision had been made and that I need to log in to see what the decision was. Upon logging on I was told that that decision was made in favor of the seller for the two charges of $29.95 and that I was now in debt to PayPal for the money that they had refunded me in advance. Now the first charge of $1.99 which they had also refunded me what is left as an unvalidated charge meaning I did not make that purchase. I've tried to talk with PayPal about this situation but they don't seem to want to talk on the phone so im forced to leave this honest review other actions and policies in this matter. In what universe would the first purchase be a nonvalidated purchase buy me but the second and third fraudulent charge to be classified as validated purchase and the money be removed from my account again but this time by PayPal. I'm hoping that they want to talk to me after they read this review. I'm also hoping that the people at checkfreezco would like to talk to me and explain why they feel they can just charge me for services indoor products that I've never received or ordered. I'm hoping to do a positive update soon but that only happen if I have a positive outcome.

All customer service calls go to the Philippines to reps who DO NOT know their company policies well that over a period of 10 days and 11 phone calls caused me a very aggravating and unnecessary run around. They all had a different explanation for my issue, none of them correct, NO solution because they are oblivious to their own company policies that I finally discovered on their website. Thirteen days ago I placed a purchase through PayPal Credit that I immediately received an “Approved” notification for that I discovered three days later was processed directly against my checking account instead. After I could not get the transaction processed as I asked through the credit line, I had to ask the merchant to issue a refund which they issued immediately. The Philippine reps all swore the refund was completed and it was up to my bank to process the funds to my account, all the while the refund was in “pending” status on the PayPal website, and I repeatedly pointed this out to the reps, the reps repeatedly ASSURED me that the refunded funds were already sent to my bank and that I had to wait for my bank to post the funds back into my account: Not the case. The refund only this morning is out of “pending” status, only this morning had PayPal finally released the funds back to my bank and I now have to wait additional time for my bank to receive the funds—I HOPE. The Philippine reps are not properly trained. They do not know PayPal policy. Out of the 11 Philippine Call Center employees I spoke with ONLY ONE was truly helpful. And none of this debacle would have occurred if they had processed my payment as I requested the first time through PayPal Credit. Even though I received an “Approved” notification immediately at the time of the transaction and I know I chose PayPal Credit, a few reps told me the payment declined and that because my checking account is my preferred method of payment, that’s why it was processed against it. I told each if them if that had been the case they needed to just decline the transaction. I choose the method independently for each transaction. Now, the last rep I spoke with is “submitting a ‘ticket’ for his back office to look into the matter and email me in a few days.” More run around!!HORRENDOUS SERVICE, PAYPAL!!!!!

I transferred into my paypal account Avery large sum of money from a wallet I held to use the money . My money is how I am pleased to use it. PayPal took my money it was up in the thousands. They placed it out of my hands, went through legal procedures, and told me I would be able to withdraw and shop. 3yrs later, they haven't yet given me my money back and now know nothing about it, but Venmo has it. They took my money and climbed up higher on the corp. Latter. What big fraud scamming theives they are . I have yet to report and sew them for doing me wrong and try to make it legal.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Then within the span of 2 years I’ve had multiple people trying to access my account fraudulently and they did nothing about it just told me to submit a claim and Change my password. So I called my bank and credit card companies to cancel my cards and see if I can recover the money that was lost and immediately PayPal blocked my account and I cannot close it. Take your money elsewhere but this horrible company. Just a bunch of scammer. Then they want to send me to a collections.

An acquaintance asked me to receive money via PayPal from them in two separate transactions over the course of three days. She asked me to then send the money on to her CashApp or Chime account. Something about her account not working properly. After I had sent the money she’d sent me through PayPal on to her CashApp or Chime account she called PayPal and lied, telling them she initiated neither transfer. Instead of contacting me to ask about the transfers PayPal refunded her money to her, taking it out of my account. When I contacted PayPal and showed them the paper trail proving that the money she sent me went right back to her through another service the refused to give the money they’d taken from me back. They said that was between me and her. They never gave me the opportunity to explain further and now want me to pay them for the negative balance my account shows, only because they took funds from it that they had no right to. I’ve attempted to begin the arbitration process to get this resolved but they will not give me the address or phone number of the department they say handles this. I’ve written letters to their legal department about this and they will not respond. Can I bypass the arbitration provision and file suit in small claims court? They have stolen my money and I want them to be punished for that and for the stress they have and continue to cause me. I will never use PayPal again and would recommend you use caution allowing them to handle your money. It’s almost like their “customer service” lackeys find it amusing and enjoy not being helpful. Completely disappointed. A company that takes your money and fails practicing due diligence in doing so really shouldn’t be trusted with even the smallest sum of money. Beware of PayPal.
