A very unsatisfactory experience. I was moving my household furniture from Hing Kong to the USA. On arrival in the USA Paramount took over responsibility for my container, unfortunately the container was selected for inspection, once this was over the service issues arose. Paramount actually held my container hostage for a month and a half, even after being told by the agent in Hong Kong to release it to me. This decision by them to hold my container cost me an additional one and a half months of furniture rental, the annoying part is that they also charged me storage fees for this period. Then when they were about to deliver the container to me they provided me an invoice with other charges which were never previously discussed, and again threatened to delay delivery unless I paid them the full amount and make no effort even to try and consider the consequences of their decisions. I would never use this company again.

Used Paramount Transportation Systems to move 100 plus boxes from Oregon to Europe. Initial quote was given by one of the company’s VP’s. Once contract was signed, the VP turned things over to one of his General Managers. Most boxes were already packed. The crew they sent over did a great packing job on the stuff that was left. Things did not go well once the GM took over. He kept missing shipping dates, and even gave me information on sailing dates that didn’t exist, always making excuses and giving rambling explanations. Several months were wasted because of his failure to be more on top of things. After months of dealing with the GM and basically kissing his “A**” just to hopefully get something done, the matter was referred back to the original VP to take over. Knowing that his GM had messed up, he refunded some storage fees and got things moving. Shipment got to Spain approximately 8-9 weeks after the VP took over. If it wasn’t for the “handling” by the GM, I would have given this company a much better rating. The GM not only added months of unnecessary delays, but lots of stress and anxiety. Be aware of who is put in charge of your move. It could turn out to be a nightmare.

It is horrible experience with Paramount Transportation Systems, Inc. We moved from United States to China Beijing. They promised that our air shipment to be delivered in the end of September but it ends up it is delivered in the middle of November. Now the sea shipment which they first said will be delivered in the end of November , then they told us it was delay. We can only get it in the middle of December. Now the shipment is delay again, it will only delivered in end of January. There is no consequences for them being delayed while we the customer has to get all the worst outcome.

Definitely avoid! Mediocre service provider, at best - was assigned by corp. relocation. Definitely incapable of managing International moves and we had a few of those both cross Atlantic and in/out of Europe. They made blatant logistical errors and "forgot" to share customs invoices resulting in more than seven weeks of delay and incurring ~ $20K of excess costs. Instead of owning it & correcting the situation, they tried to come back to my employer for exceptional reimbursement (without asking me) and had an impolite, amateur "Global Group Director" accuse me that I didn't do my part in calling their local agent, following up, seeking clarity on payments - which they are paid to do. Such a frustrating experience that we are escalating them externally and to my husband's employer (Kraft Heinz) to ensure no one else has to deal with this level of amateur service.

Moving is usually always stressful but so happy I used Paramount to handle my move from Michigan to California. They made going across country, so easy from start to finish. I’d highly recommend using them to all my friends and family. If I ever have to move again, I’ll definitely be calling them to set up my move. Thanks for everything!
