While the crew who came and packed us up were friendly, they sucked at their job. I mean, our dishes came back intact but they just didn't seem intelligent. They threw things on the truck and said "it would make it there" ...well guess what, it didn't make it. One guy dropped our items countless times and another constantly smoked ON the truck with our belongings. Very unprofessional, we feel bad for future clients. **editing Nov 2018 to add that I found at least $50 missing from my childrens piggy banks. The movers having access to them is the only explanation** If these people are hired to move your belongings, RUN! Unprofessional and untrustworthy. ***editing because I just saw their reply. What a joke...you moved our household goods from Tyndall to Wichita Falls, TX April 2018. Our last name isn't common so it can't be hard to find our info. I hope you never move another military family.

We have moved many times and this time we only moved one item. My previous moves have been close to disasters so I was honestly expecting the worse case scenario. The piano was picked up when they said it would be and delivered when they said it would be. It arrived without damage. You can bet next home move I make will be with Paulks Moving. They are very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them for a smooth uneventful move.

We had Paulk's assigned to us for a military move from Florida to California. Packing day went good, there were a lot of people so they were able to move quickly and were friendly. Pick up day was different, we were told they would be there between 8 and 5, 2 pm came no truck, no call. We called and were told it would be the following day. The next day came no truck, no call. We reached out again and were told it would be one more day. The truck arrived at 4pm on Sunday, they were rushing to put our things in the truck. We arrived in California the day before we were told the truck would arrive. Once again no truck, no call so we waited a day then called. The truck axel had caught on fire (luckily none of our stuff was damaged) this would add another 3 days onto getting our stuff (it would of been nice to have known about the situation). 3 days went by no truck, no call we called AGAIN to find out it would be the next day. And it was! Due to lack of space our kayaks and trailer had to be sent in another truck, our kayaks came a month from the day they were picked up, at 8:30pm on a Monday night outside our military gate and had to be unpacked out of the truck and assembled. It was 10:30pm when we got them back home. Friendly workers, communication and planning are not good.

I'm JUST now getting around to reviewing our experience after moving to PCB, FL in October of 2015. The movers themselves from Paulks were very friendly, but unfortunately the storage conditions in which our military goods were kept in for a few weeks in was atrocious. ALL of our upholstered furniture was a total loss due to rodent foot prints that stained each piece (probably had dried urine on them as well). We even had raccoon foot prints on our wooden dining room table & our living room leather chair. Because this move was coordinated through & covered the military, their insurance department is who we dealt with & who paid for the damage - well never know if Paulk's was ever approached with the issue. Hopefully this was only the case for us & no one else has had the experience. So disappointing & honestly pretty devasting to deal with after such a big move!

One star is too much. This company was run by Ron Paulk for years and was trustworthy and reliable (hence excellent BBB reviews). Bought out by United at end of last year and has only gone downhill since. Find somebody else is all I can say.
