I used Personal Touch for my move in May, and I was abundantly pleased with my crew and the job! From the pleasant experience I had scheduling the estimate with John, to Dave, Miguel, and Big E arriving on time and ready to roll the day of, I knew I was in good hands. John and his crew were professional, punctual, and showed pride in their work. I have a lot of Victorian antiques, including a grandfather clock built overseas in 1780 and a huge secretary desk bookcase… my furniture and my homes were protected and treated with care and respect. I appreciate movers who understand they’re moving my heirlooms & treasures. I can’t say enough good things about this Team!

Personal Touch Moving Company from Oxford MI has just moved our home to its storage unit this past week while we are building another one in the Detroit area. From start to finish the owner John and his employees were the best. We have moved a lot in our lifetime and this has been the best move we’ve ever had so far. The detail and care in packing up our items was excellent. The movers were hard working and fun to be with. We are looking forward to getting our things returned to us in a few months and have no doubts that it will be done with excellence. Just wanted to say thank you and recommend this to anyone wanting to hire a good moving company.

I had hired Personal Touch to move my belonging, and I accidentally confirmed the wrong date (my error in a typo). When the problem was recognized, John went above and beyond to get the move rescheduled. The moving crew, (Matt, Matt, and Jeff) did an awesome job taking care with my household goods, and got the job done quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Personal Touch Movers.

Used Personal Touch moving for my recent move. Such a pleasant experience! John came out and gave me an estimate of 4.75 hours. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes. Move took 4 hours, right on target. Crew of 3-Brian, Keith and Doug were super careful, efficient and professional. No damage to walls or furniture, even with the bulky items that had to go to the basement. I would definitely recommend Personal Touch Moving to anyone in need of moving services! Thank you!

My floor company hired this moving company to move some of my furniture (from 1 room to another), some rugs, & empty 2 of my closets-holding coats, clothes, shoe rack, etc. It was going to be a very small & quick job. Even though it was a small job, I think any job should be taken seriously. I was expecting young, fit, polite guys to be ringing my doorbell (just like when I hired White Star movers, twice, recently for my big move & my mother-in-law's big move). Instead I had 2 older, over weight men show up. I didn't want to "judge a book" too much, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The first guy proceeded to almost walk on my very light carpeting with his shoes still on(very unprofessional), so I said, I have booties or you can remove your shoes but I prefer to not have you guys walk on my carpet. The 2nd man got HIGHLY upset & had a major attitude with me arguing that they had to keep their shoes on & couldn't use booties because they were moving heavy large furniture. I told them I only had 1 kitchen table that was large, all the other things were fairly light items. Mind you, they were going from 1 room to another, not from outside the house, into a truck & back to the house. This wasn't a full move. He proceeded to be VERY upset so we were at a stand still-he was refusing to use booties or remove his shoes & I was refusing to believe or trust that they would be able to use caution & stay on their slim runners, staying off my cream colored carpet. Because of the refusal, I thought I would be sending them home with the job not done. The other guy, wanting to cut the tension, started defusing the situation & he removed his shoes to move several of my pieces. They started sweating profusely after only about 3 minutes (on this cool 55 degree September morning??) so I only had them move the couple pieces of furniture & sent them home. The last thing I wanted is for them to be sweating all over my coats & clothing in my closets. GO TO WHITE STAR MOVERS-they are very respectful & didn't walk on my carpeting with their shoes. Don't waste your time. This company does not care who they hire.
