I ♥ it. We pay more here then at our previous storage unit facility but we pay more for peace of mind and that in itself is priceless. To have a unit in a clean well kept facility with cameras, a key code gate, a well lite storage facility at night and a light inside of our unit as well is wonderful and I wish we would have went to Pettis Storage Town first. If I or my husband can not make it in in-person to pay I enjoy the convenience of being able to call in our payment. We would recommend Pettis Storage Town for anyone looking for a clean kept and safe storage unit to rent. -Christy & Clayton Mount

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Owner is very rude. Accidently lost my key to my husband's truck in our storage shed. AFTER hours of searching for the spare key we finally found it. When we got back up there the gate code wouldn't work so we called the emergency number. I explained to the owner what had happened and that my infants car seat was in the truck and instead of helping me, he mocked me, belittled me, and told me to call the cops because it wasn't his problem my infant had a doctors appointment in the early morning for her rare heart condition and I could not get any help from the owner. He kept saying that "it wasn't his problem". Bottom line HORRIBLE customer service would not store anything here ever again. Ended up having to call the cops and jump through all kinds of hoops just to get my husband OWN truck out. Mike Pettis is heartless and rude.

I've been running a small storage shed from Pettis storage in Southport for about 3 to 4 months it is very reasonably priced well and closed locked at night but you can get in if you need to after hours with a code. The police regularly run through there to make sure everything is safe so you don't have to worry about your personal belongings getting stolen which is very comforting. The young lady in the office it's very kind when you go in to make your payment and very efficient. I would recommend Pettis storage to anyone who needs a place to keep their valuables or just the memories until they have a permanent place to keep them.

Expensive than other places. If you don't have your payment in on the first, your code gets shut off and they place a lock on immediately (quite extreme). You can pay over the phone, not a first choice just convenient at the time, but not anymore.

All of my grandmother's things are ruined. This place is infested with rats. There was a dead rat with maggots crawling on it in her unit. Everything is covered with rat urine and feces. Its a disgrace this place is even open.
