I recently moved from San Diego to Iowa and I can’t say enough great things about Plymouth Van Lines. They went above and beyond starting with Cindy, Kay and Adam in the office to Eric and his amazing crew at pick up. They were professional, efficient and thorough. They made sure to wrap and protect all of my furniture meticulously. Delivery was within the time frame they explained and I received all of my shipment in mint condition. I would definitely recommend them to all.

I really liked this company and wish I could leave a higher review but unfortunately the third party service they hired to drop off my stuff left a horrible taste in my mouth. The man who dropped off my stuff was clearly looking for a money grabbed because he aggressively kept trying to make me pay for more services. He argued with me on his way to my home about paying more a shuttle service, because he claimed there wasn’t enough space for his truck. I showed him there was enough space. Then the guy argued with me saying he couldn’t load because it was in a fire lane. I work at a university and the sidewalks surrounding every part of the building is considered a fire lane but it’s also used by students and staff to unload for moves. I got permission prior but he still refused. After arguing with me and me almost refusing to pay him because he suggested he drop my stuff off at a rental truck place and I move it myself, he finally agreed to come. Not only did I have space for his truck, but his truck did not get a ticket. After he came he did try to get me to pay him extra for a “long haul service” saying my contract only requires to drop my stuff off on the sidewalk!! So if I wanted him to bring it inside then I would have to pay him extra. I told him no and I wouldn’t pay him for dropping it off on the sidewalk. Then he kept questioning me on if my boyfriend would be there when he came, so LADIES BE CAREFUL. Bring a male friend if you use this company.

The company Plymouth Van Lines Inc. It's one of the best companies. It got me out of trouble. I had to move from SD to TX. All my things and belongings arrived complete. Nothing came broken. Everything in its place. Honestly, I highly recommend it.

As the dust finally settles… and week after my move now. I’d have to say Plymouth Van Lines and their team were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. From the confirmation calls from Cindy along with constant communication with their team with pickup and delivery. They made my move from Southern California to NorCal a breeze. Jonathan and Oscar, the delivery managers at pick-up and delivery, were awesome—very punctual and also quite effective communication throughout. Their staff that packed and unpacked all my things my were extremely professional. They ensured my items were wrapped and padded appropriately to make sure there was no damage to my furniture and belongings. Honestly, I thought I was missing items upon delivery, but actually they were carefully boxed and packed to make sure that my lamps and extra large 49” monitor were not damaged!!! I want to express my gracious thank you to Plymouth and their team for making my move “easy peasy.” I’d definitely highly recommend!

Plymouth gave me a quote after I provided pictures of the rooms, closets, etc as it was to be a full pack and move. After the quote I emailed and asked them what other costs might be incurred as I saw horror stories of costs doubling online. I was told that absolutely wouldn’t happen and the only cost increase would be if they couldn’t park the truck close and have to carry items a distance which wasn’t the case at our place. Regardless, they increased the cost from the original $3,000 quote to $7,000 the minute they arrived, when I argued they reduced it to $6,000. I even showed them the email but they said she made a mistake and I could take it or leave it. I had to move that day so had no choice. I wasn’t even going to post this until I unpacked 5 wardrobe boxes today and although they had the metal bars to hang the clothes they piled all the clothes in the bottom of the boxes without even one item hanging in all 5 wardrobe boxes. Everything is so wrinkled and will cost hundreds in dry cleaning bills and hours of laundry. I have moved in the past with wardrobe boxes and they always hung my clothes. This was pure laziness. The only reason they are getting a “3” is because I had a few antiques and special items and they arrived without damage. I recommend against using this company.
