Truly remarkable guys! The entire team at SP Motorsports are just some incredible, stand up dudes! As a first time customer I was very nervous at first as I tend to be OCD and just acquired my first GT division car, let alone my first Porsche! I first contacted them via phone and spoke with Chasen. Through him I found out that they have worked on my GT4 before! This was already a great sign as they seemed to be excited to see the car again. I was greeted by Aaron (hope I spelled that correctly), who was very welcoming and kind! He informed me on some of the services that they would do and answered many of my questions. Finally, I met John. I can’t express enough how friendly this man is! He showed me and my wife through the entire shop and gave us back stories on a number of cars they’ve worked on, raced, restored, etc. he spent so much of his valuable time educating us on what they do and how important each and every project is to him and his team. The cars in the shop range from sports cars to million dollar vehicles! Yet every vehicle is treated like their very own car and meticulously cared after! The team is extremely diligent and detail oriented in the work they do, providing details/descriptions/photos of issues or concerns found with the vehicle. They offer the best suggestions and options that prioritize what should be addressed now vs what can wait. I also had the pleasure of meeting Matt when I arrived to pick up my car. He took a look at my PPF on the car and gave me some great advice and suggestions. A very down to earth guy and I believe he is the detailer for the shop. Super personable and easy to talk to. All in all, this wasn’t just an appointment for me. It turned out being an entire experience! And what an experience it was. To be treated like family and getting to know the team was such an honor! I genuinely can’t praise SP Motorsports and the crew enough. These guys know what they’re doing and what they’re doing is some serious stuff! They’ve made me a customer for life! Thank you again!

I received great service and support for my 992 GT3 upgrades and modifications. The team stayed in touch with me daily to provide updates. We had run into issues with hardware that I had purchased offline, but the team continued to help work thru resolution. In the end, all of the work requested was complete to the estimated provided. SP Motorsports is an incredible part of the Porsche community in the Bay Area. I recently purchased a current generation Porsche sports car and struggled to find expertise at my local shops. Most independent shops have never worked on the new generation of car so knew very little about it. I was then referred to SP Motorsports which then discovered the people here knew everything about the car, every aftermarket product available, and excruciatingly minor details. The people here have more expertise than the dealers on Porsche sports cars. I will say the price you pay here will be on the higher side, but after some conversation, I understand the reason. They have done so much work on these cars that they can predict all of the minor things that can go wrong with aftermarket modifications. They spend a lot of time testing and ensuring that modifications performed will not see issues later on and hence will put in the extra labor time to guarantee that the work is proper. As good as the work is here, there is a fun sense of community as well. On any given day you may meet other Porsche enthusiasts in the lounge area who are excited to chat about cars as much as you. Really fun times here.

The SP team has been there for me ever since I picked up my 997.1 C2 back in 2019. After experiencing very bad tire rub on the spring seat of the front driver side strut during a Sonoma Raceway track day, I gave Chasen a call and asked them to check out my suspension during a time that I'd be out-of-state on business. I dropped the car off on a Friday before my travel and by end-of-Monday, Chasen had diagnosed the car. We both agreed that the life of the damper had expired, and that a refresh would be ideal. The problem? I had a Laguna seca track day 1.5 weeks away from diagnosis. Luckily, Chasen was able to hook me up with what he calls, "the juice". The team set me up with Ohlins R&T coilovers + a custom alignment and setup. They setup the car for canyon/track hybrid duty complete with GT3 ride height and rake, plus increase track width via 15 mm spacers all-around. They had the car ready just 2 days before I had to take the car to Monterey County from the Bay Area. When I picked up the car, I realized that SP had transformed my car. The car had improved turn-in and stability when braking and cornering, all while maintaining compliance on the street, I simply couldn't believe it. Not only did SP deliver the goods ahead of the time I needed the car, but they also offered continued support in-case you need to make any changes at the track and beyond. That being said, I was able to take my dad out on a track day at Laguna Seca for Father's Day and managed to set a new PB using the new setup! Everyone that has ridden in my car thus far can't believe how great of a job SP did. The car drives like a dream, off-and-on the track! THANKS Chasen, John, & the rest of SP!

The people at SP are top notch! Chasen helped me sort out what I needed/wanted for my 911 for street and light track duty. The quality of work and service is unmatched. They did uncover a few issues during the inspection but were very forthcoming about what needed to be addressed right away before tracking the car and what could continue to be monitored. The final product was absolutely spectacular in look and drive! They are the only place I will be taking my car moving forward. Thank you Chase and Team!
