Posh was brokered to us via a company out of Pompano Beach. They completed a full pack and load at our two bedroom apartment on September 16. They did a great job on the work, professional, courteous, respectful. They only provided two resources for the job but when I warned Posh about needing more people, they quickly evaluated and came up with three additional resources to get the job done. Matthew, the Posh lead for our packing and loading, did a wonderful job in coordinating everything during their visit with us. Great job Posh on the packing and loading side. Lets see how it goes on the unloading and reassembly at the delivery end in 7-10 days.

Our experience with POSH was not good. The 2 workers arrived later then planned (11/2 hours day 1and 2 hours day 2) were overwhelmed and when we and they asked for more hep did not get it. They packed my wife's purse (admittedly it was not set aside) and failed to pack my custom-made bread-baking board. We had several damaged antiques as well as broken glass ware. Attempts to speak with ownership was ignored. Here is a sample of our experience

BY FAR the WORST moving company EVER! Tons of damage to furniture. The never rebuilt bookcase they disassembled. They were rough with all our items. Worst of all their adult employee solicited my 7 year old daughter several times. We didn’t know until after they left. Police are involved. And the person in charge of the move brought his daughter and possibly another unauthorized person to assist in the move. We have extensive damage to our new home and appliances that they caused. And we are missing important boxes that mysteriously broke apart

We are moving out of state and Posh Moving Company has been great. Our movers were Greg and Hunter and they were awesome! They took great care moving our items and explained the complete moving process including the paperwork! Ashley has been a wonderful. Similar to other poor ratings given here on Google, I had a rough overall experience with Posh Moving and Storage (who we contracted through American Van Lines) for a move from Colorado to California. On arrival, we were told that the approximation of total box count was not going to be sufficient. This is probably American Van Lines' fault as they don't appear to set clear expectations or listen to requirements provided by the folks they contract to do the actual move. The only slack I will cut Posh is that these two companies appeared to poorly communicate with each other, so the blame isn't entirely one-sided there. When the "final" count was done, our Posh movers had to sit in their boiling hot vehicles in the 109+ degree heat waiting for the updated cost. American Van Lines wound up increasing the overall total by $1700, which we either had to pay on the spot or give up our deposit and movers entirely. There was no third option. The movers themselves worked a hard, 9 hour day in the heat and we did everything we could to make them comfortable. We offered a generous tip (acknowledged as such, they asked if we "were sure" we wanted to leave that much) before they left with our things. This was the last good part of our experience - our items were broken, dragged, and damaged after they left our home. Seems like the transition within the warehouse is where a lot of neglect was applied. We consulted with the movers about our TVs and how to keep them safe, bought boxes specifically for padding a TV during move, and still wound up with a $1600 TV broken on arrival (bent somehow). This plus other damages to our furniture including drag marks across the *tops* of furniture, knife marks, deep and dragging cuts, and cracked and broken glass, has made the entire process far more expensive than we could have ever imagined. My husband and I are out $8900 wasted on this experience, not including the cost of goods that insurance won't pay more than $0.60/lb for. We might get $55 back for the items damaged and ruined beyond repair. The next level of insurance up would have cost us another $1200 and only insured an additional $0.20/lb. The math is horrible, I don't understand how companies can operate like this. All in all: We will not be working with Posh or American Van Lines again. While there is fault to be shared among both companies for correspondence and general cost, Posh are the ones that damaged our furniture and broke our TV. In the future, we'll rent our own truck and do this the hard way.
