I am really not sure how this company has such high Google reviews; as another reviewer mentioned, they must be fake reviews from friends and/or family. First off, if you want your belongings treated like trash, then go with this company. After getting quotes from several moving companies to move our 2BR literally just several blocks up the street, we went with Pristine despite the fact that they were 3x more expensive than Piece of Cake (which we had a fantastic experience with during our last move) and maybe 2x more expensive than Oz (which also received glowing reviews from friends who had used them). We went with the advice of someone of whom we trusted that this company was honest in pricing, would do the job efficiently, and most importantly WITH CARE, since I was 8 months pregnant and we needed all the help we could get with packing (big mistake). We paid a premium to basically have our stuff swept into boxes as if it was nothing more trash and then also to have a good amount of things “go missing.” Shoe racks were dumped in sideways WITH SHOES still on them (so ended up crushed and wedged in random spots), dressers were tipped sideways and moved WITH CLOTHES still inside, so needless to say, the drawers did not open when we got to the other side. Clothes and expensive suits were “hung” in garment boxes that were also stuffed to the bring with other objects that were wedged in, so basically what was the point of even “hanging” them? Handbags were tossed in and packed under very heavy objects. The kicker was, we were paying extra for this “packing” — had I known that “packing” meant just full-scale throwing things into a box as if they were taking out trash, I could’ve done it myself. Also, if you want them to write and tape all over your belongings, including the preservation box containing for your wedding dress and gifts received from people? Then go with this company. The only saving grace on the moving team was Victor, who I do want to shoutout for doing a fantastic job of packing up our kitchen and bathrooms, wrapping and padding everything super carefully and labeling all of the boxes correctly. Aside from that, the packing job done by the rest of the team was terrible — half of our things arrived dented or broken, pictures and canvases were not wrapped correctly (many arrived chipped / dented), baby / toddler toys just thrown into boxes haphazardly, table lamps were crushed and broken… On top of all of this, they STOLE from us. We are missing over 10 bottles of top shelf liquor that very clearly is not anywhere to be found, and honestly, would be pretty obvious if it was in our home because it would be a pretty heavy box — the owner’s response to this was that he was sure it “will still turn up somewhere”. Uh huh, I’m sure over $2k worth of alcohol will “just turn up” after we’ve opened and unpacked all of the boxes… EDITED TO ADD: Now that we’ve done further unpacking, we noticed a few more “nice” items are missing: a Bose bluetooth speaker and TWO brand new, unopened pairs of Beats headphones that were gifts to us. Funny thing is, literally ALL of the items that were on the shelves around these items were packed and accounted for, so can’t even pretend that an entire box was lost — these packed boxes weren’t even full, so there was plenty of space for my missing electronics. So yep, want your stuff treated like trash and then have ~$3k worth of things stolen from you? Go with them. Also, regarding the company response to my review — the packing experience wasn’t just “disappointing”, the fact that your employees stole from us is criminal. You also clearly did not even bother checking what my move entailed; it was not “long-distance”…we literally went up the street less than 10 blocks.

Let me start with phenomenal service! It was a nasty rainy day the guys were on time despite the weather. They upheld the most respect and showed prestige confidence. The pick up was in NY & delivery was to VA. They were again on time with delivery and handled with care! The estimator who assisted and booked the job was extremely professional and honest thank you again Michael! Would definitely recommend!

So happy I decided to use this company to relocate my family last week from NYC down to Naples, FL and they even provided us with a straight delivery to assure us that we'd get our item's quickly!!! Price was spot on! Movers were all well equipped, knowledgeable, and professional as well. They completely took the burden of having to move off my chest and made me and my family feel very comfortable with the entire process. Thanks guys from Pristine! Will for sure use again if we ever relocate in future.

We recently used this company to do a commercial move from Long Island down to Georgia. The gentleman that showed up arrived promptly, dressed in uniform, and we're extremely careful packing/loading all of our item's. I must say, they truly made the relocation process simple for us and the price was just as quoted during the in-home estimate. Thank you so much Pristine Vanlines for ALL of your help!!!
