I had to hire a moving company I didn’t want to hire a , moving company but because of the place, I’m moving into it was required to have movers. I scheduled a moving appointment today require two hours. For four They say it’s supposed to be four hours. They say that doesn’t Include the time that It may take To move. I scheduled an appointment for 830. They arrived at 8:45 and told me that it can’t be expected to be on time. I was trying to be as helpful as possible and I asked him how I could do that. I said well can I help move stuff so that you know we can hurry this long because I really can’t afford a lot I’ve already moved except for two beds and two bureau were moved in the parlor Not only did I move all my boxes. I moved all my mattresses my box spring. When it came to me physically not being able able to move anything more I had to wait And rely on the workers to move two beds, two tables, two tanks and 3 Bureau. Apparently that took longer than 90% of the stuff that I already had helped move. When they moved the bureaus and everything that was the last to be put in, so it should’ve been the first to be accessible that would make sense. Well, I carried three boxes down the chairs at a time trying to hustle this. You got this man walking as slow as molasses bringing one box at a time. When I go to my job, I take pride and what I do, and as a person who was trying to be helpful and moved as much as possible with sweating and puffin, and literally had my neighbor have to help me Clean my apartment because it was due for inspection at 12 and Needed to be moved out we literally cleaned the apartment faster than five bags could’ve been taken down the stairs my neighbor who had surgery on her wrist, ended up, bringing the last bags down because they just kept on sitting there. This was my experience. I wouldn’t recommend this company based on it. I’m a fair person. I don’t think it’s reasonable to think that moving should be done in a timely manner, especially when giving help In the coworker, didn’t even come up to my apartment for the first hour practically was busy having smoke breaks on a smoke free property. The only compliment I can give to this company is the young boy who tried to pick up the slack Of his fellow coworkers worked really hard and it’s not his fault that he is peered up with people who do not care whether you are paying because they get paid by the hour and it doesn’t hurt their pocket.

I hate to be the person that leaves bad reviews over being slighted but this is negligence bad. This company employed and let a thief into our home! Stay far away! On top of that, they are continuing to try to accept no responsibility!! We had a backpack stolen from us with a laptop and valuable and irreplaceable personal belongings inside during our move. We are 100% certain that an employee of RL Davis was the culprit. When we realized this and tried to reach out to come to solution, they were unhelpful and instead of assisting us with making this right or at least being embarrassed by it, they feel they are not at all responsible and are hiding from us and even avoiding us! The only time they pick up is when a different number they are unfamiliar with calls them. We researched one of the 3 working and we are fairly certain was the culprit that they hired, and found a rap-sheet 5 pages long with felonies, armed robbery, and MORE on their record!! Absolutely negligent in hiring someone they are letting into our home and we are now the victim.... and they are trying their best to avoid any responsibilities... stay FAR FAR away from this company!

I wish I never hired this company. They arrived 45 minutes late, didn't pack anything as I requested & left boxes outside in the elements. That destroyed my valuable coin collection as well as other very important papers. They also may have stolen 2 hand guns that we still can't find. I will be be filing a police report with the local authorities because I'm quite sure they took them

State Funded Move for Disabled so I do not know the cost. However, as a 55-year-old woman person with a disabled daughter I was very grateful for their service in fitting us in when out other movers had to cancel due to Covid.-19. They went above and beyond to move us, even moving my daughters beloved piano without a scratch. They moved all our electronics carefully also. They built a box for me when I needed one more. Above all, when I went upstairs that night after they left, I found they had built my bed for me and put the mattress and box spring on for me. I didn't have to sleep on the floor! No mover has ever built the bed for me.

Friendly enough to get you to trust them like a good con man would. Then when you drop your guard and let them do their job, they steal your stuff! Don’t hire these guys unless you want to be ripped off and overcharged. Very unprofessional!!!
