Third time using Ramsey Legacy to get furniture from Asheville outlets delivered to our home in Charlotte, and each experience has been exceptional. Very open communication, great pricing, all items were picked up on our behalf, and carefully wrapped and handled, and delivery was a breeze. Definitely recommend! PS when the items were picked up from CB and RH, I was sent pictures from their team at time of pickup showing areas where the furniture had dings or scratches etc, and given the opportunity to approve pickup. Items have arrived wrapped throughly in clear film top to bottom and, on our most recent delivery. they even took apart our desk so as to no risk scratching it or hitting our door because of its shape!

I highly recommend Ramsey Legacy Moving. It’s easy to write a good review about a company when everything goes right. I’m extremely impressed by how this company handled something going wrong. They delivered 2/3 pieces flawlessly, fast, and for a great price. Unfortunately, a piece of glass was broken on the 3rd piece en route. They had gone to great lengths to protect it, but accidents happen. They took full responsibility for it and got it fixed like new as fast as possible. It was completely hassle-free on my end and they took care of every little detail. I can tell this company takes pride in their work and really cared about doing everything they could do to make this right. They are a trustworthy company that I will definitely be using again.

I rented a 26’ Uhaul here for an in-town. Had the truck 2 days. I was going to extend the rental, but it was already booked for the following day. So we had to rush to get the truck back. I have rented a lot of Uhauls. Never had an experience like this one… I cleaned the box like always, blow with a blower and sweep. Due to my time constraints getting it back in time for the next rental, I couldn’t clean the cab as well as I usually do. As such, there was a little dirt on the floor. No trash, just some dirt. Long story short, I got the final bill and he had charged me $200 for a cleaning fee. He took photos and most were of the outside of the truck. It’s been rainy here for months. Impossible to not have some dirt fly up as we went down a dirt road. I tried to contact the office, but they don’t answer the phone. They want you to text. I sent a text asking to discuss the additional charges. Their response was to contact Uhaul. They gave me no number or contact details that I should call. I sent a follow up text to ask and they had blocked my number. The whole experience was just weird and handled poorly. I contacted Uhaul and explained what happened. Uhaul ultimately refunded me $150 of the cleaning fee as they didn’t feel $200 was warranted either. I would have gladly paid $50-$60 for cleaning the dirt out of the cab if the owner had just communicated with me. They may be great for full service moving, but I would not recommend renting a Uhaul here.

I purchased 4 patio chairs from the Restoration Hardware outlet in Asheville and they gave me a list of names for delivery to the Charlotte area. After providing a quote, I hired Ramsey based on the RH recommendation. First they wanted to charge me a monthly storage fee of $150 on top of the quoted price even though they delivered only a week after pick up. More importantly, the chairs were in new condition at the time of purchase (confirmed by RH representative), but arrived to me with the chips as seen in the attached photos. I understand mistakes happen, but Ramsey refused to accept any responsibility. I believe it was a reasonable ask to be reimbursed for having them fixed. Unfortunately, I'm on the hook for that. The lesson here is to be skeptical of an estimate that's a good bit lower than others. You get what you pay for. Dustin spins a nice tale below. Admittedly, it is entertaining.

Great communication, punctual, organized during every part from scheduling to delivery of bar for basement billard/movie/game room (a heavy beast). All went without a glitch. Professional, careful, priced fairly and very nice guys. Would highly recommend and use again !
