Moving all of your belongings cross-country is obviously very stressful so having a great moving team from start to finish is essential and I can't think of a better team than these folks. Customer service is top-notch. They communicate clearly and actively so you never have that moment of... "hey how long's it been since we heard from the movers?" They arrived right on schedule and the movers were amazing. Start with Jay, who drove it all here. Incredibly nice, friendly, reliable, communicative, patient, hard-working and so respectful of our home and of our things. He called us three nights ahead of time while en route cross country to tell us exactly when he'd be there and to discuss parking the truck. He also prepared for whatever parking situation there would be so there would be no surprises or delays. Then he said he'd call the night before arrival and he did. On the day of the move, Jay's crew of Jose and Francisco were just as great. They moved everything in easily without a scratch, assembled our furniture that needed it and were so kind and friendly. Thank you all for making this move so much easier for us!

I used Ray the Mover for moving from MA to NC. Sue provided excellent customer service, following up with me and responding to inquiries in a timely fashion. It was a lot of work to coordinate around my closing schedules but Sue and Ray the Mover made it work. The movers arrived and were all very personable and professional. I was surprised at the amount of work they put in, wrapping every piece in a heavy blanket and taping it up before moving it onto the truck. Great job. Sue passed the baton to Gail who was also quite professional and great with timely responses and follow up. In NC, the crew was good, unloading was smooth and care was taken to ensure that the unload was smooth and damage free. I highly recommend Ray the Mover / Allied Van.

I had a small load moved cross-country. The entire Ray the Mover team was wonderful, from Sarah and Kathie in the office, to the team who packed and loaded on the east coast, to Jeremiah who delivered and unloaded. Everyone was personable, professional, and caring. Thank you so very much!

Had my items delivered 2 days ago by Jay the mover (no relation to Ray the Mover, just a happy employee). Jay was punctual, moved all the items in and placed them with care, and was careful to not track in dirt or scuff any surfaces. An all together very pleasant experience. Jay even posed for a picture to cap off the whole experience. If I move again, I hope I can have the crew from Ray the Mover as part of it.
