I had Red & White transport a 66 Chevy van from California to Queensbury, NY. Not only did the shipper comment on how polite and professional they were but I can tell you on the receiving end they were awesome too. The vehicle was delivered exactly when they said it was and even called prior to delivery to make sure I was available. All paperwork was in order, pictures before and after were taken and everything went perfectly. I highly recommend these guys. Thank you.

We had a problem with our 1971 Alfa Romeo GTV. We had just purchased it in Maine and on the drive back to Pasadena, CA, the transmission started making an awful noise. It drove fine, but the noise didn't sound good. I made a decision to have the car sent back home. Our broker (I'm in the auto business, so I have some really great contacts) found Red and White Transport for a next day pick up in Lake George, NY! The communication was excellent. They arrived early, which threw us off a little - we were on a little walk and weren't back yet. The driver didn't get upset - I rushed back and handed him the keys. Our little Alfa was on it's way home. The guys at Red and White were phenomenal. I've used trucking companies hundreds of times - the good ones I use again and the bad ones are black listed. These guys are awesome - I like them so much that I put them in my contact list of my cell phone. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them! Up to this point, they're a five star and I recommend them highly. Now the bad news - happened about a year ago. I had another classic car I needed to be transported. This time it was to be picked up in Buffalo, NY. It's a 1967 Alfa Duetto - worth a decent amount of money. I set up the delivery and all was good. They picked it up as promised - excellent as before. The drop off ... that wasn't so good. The driver refused to delver my car at a reasonable time. He made up some story about this being normal practice in the industry. Little did he know that I've had hundreds of cars delivered and the driver always works with me on my schedule. He then threatened to hold my car at the lot until he arrived back in Los Angeles (he was headed back to New York and then he'd get another load brought to LA). I wasn't going to let a valuable car sit on their lot, so I did what I NEVER do. I allowed him to drop the car off with nobody to accept it. You NEVER do this, because the car can be damaged in transit and now the driver can claim the damage was done after he delivered it. The driver dropped the car off at my home. He parked it in the driveway (I left a nice spot for him to pull in). He of course parked it too close to my other Alfa Spider and then he must've been pissed, because he slammed the door of my 1967 Alfa (new car) into the door of the other car. There's a good size dent in the door of the Alfa Spider and the Duetto door has chipped paint and a dent on the edge. The damage to the Duetto door and the dent on the Spider match up perfectly (open the Duetto door and the dent is right there). $2000 to $3000 for me to get both cars fixed (at wholesale cost). I called and told him I was very upset. He said that someone else opened the door and did the damage. I told him he better hope I don't see him, because I'm going to show him how pissed I am. A stupid move like that has taken what was a lifetime of future business to I will never use this company again and I'll make sure others know not to use them either. From five stars to one. I've been a business owner for 35 years and I hope I never have the bad luck of employing someone like this. He's a business killer! I do not recommend using this company, because you may get stuck with the driver we had. I feel bad for the owners of this company.

The driver picking up car was nice, communicative and prompt. The pick up process was top notch. Our cars were picked up on a Wednesday and quickly transported to Saratoga NY awaiting “last mile” delivery. After sitting in their yard for what I was told was for 3 days, I received a phone call telling me cars would be dropped off the next day between 8-9am. No word from them that morning and I called owner and he never apologized for lack of notification and was downright rude. Nevertheless, the cars were now to be delivered the following day. I had changed all my plans to be available and never received the courtesy of a phone call alerting me to fact that cars were delayed one day. So the next day the person to deliver car was communicative and extremely pleasant to deal with. While I won’t belabor issues with car, I had some damage that was documented as occurring during transportation. I have shipped many many cars over the years and always paid balance in full at pick up. This time since it was documented that issue happened in delivery I asked owner for a small discount (less than 5% of cost of shipping). No discount just a lot of anger towards me from owner. The employees I dealt with in person were top notch. I just did not feel comfortable dealing with owner of business. My fear is that if something worse were to happen, I would not be comfortable dealing with owner to find a “mutually” agreeable solution. The customer is irrelevant (not too uncommon in this industry) Finally, the cars took 8 days to arrive which is a tad bit longer than normal (6-7 is what I have found to be typical).

Every summer we have our SUV transported from Los Angeles to Southern Vermont and this is the first time I had the opportunity to use Red and White Transport. Very professional, very timely text regarding pick up and delivery and really, just a darn good family run business. I wish all other transports paid this much attention to details.Super recommended without hesitation!
