Please beware of using this company as they failed to provide me with accurate moving costs and provided me a misleading estimate. I made sure to call them twice before the move to confirm moving costs all for them to include minimum moving hours and surprise fees that were not previously disclosed. Moving is stressful enough and this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. I really hope Regency takes steps to improve its transparency and communication with customers.

Superb moving experience! Regency Moving & Storage exceeded my expectations! From the first call to set up an estimate, Regency Moving was there to answer all my questions. As part of the move, I had them move a very special antique piece that had been gifted to me by my parents. The piece arrived, after a very long move, in perfect condition. This is a family owned business and everyone involved was a pleasure to work with! 5 Star for sure!!

Great service, we moved from Richmond to Florida and they were there for every step of the way. From the first call to every little detail. All of our belongings were delivered professionally days before expected. The owner exceeded our expectations. Would recommend to everyone.

To share my experience with this company begins with attitude. From the packers to the movers it was evident they were unaware of their employer’s business plan. My furniture was damaged due to not wrapping it properly, if at all, my clothes were wadded up in boxes, boxes were unmarked & packed upside down, furniture they disassembled was left that way. The list goes on & on. I asked the Estimator & moving crew if they knew how to properly move an adjustable bed. I instructed the crew not to assemble the bed without me being present. Imagine my surprise when the bed was not only assembled but they were long gone when I found the bed failed to operate correctly. They did not install two support rails & had the audacity to hide them under the bed. I am a handicapped senior who needed expert movers. #1 Mover in VA? What does that say about the legitimate movers? I’ve had eight moves in the past using worldwide van lines with superior service. I talked to the owner, Scott, about being $400 over the estimate. I pointed out the large number of supplies left at my apartment that I paid for. Scott was not only condescending but rude & insulting. He said I should have been grateful for the price I paid. I moved 8 miles. I’m a handicapped senior who never asked for more than was offered. That said, I will ensure other seniors & all people I can reach steer clear of this business. I chose them because they were a “family business”. I admit that I learned a life lesson from this debacle. Do not hire a family business without knowing which generation you are dealing with. The generation who founded the business built their reputation through hard work. This generation is cocky, lazy, and unprofessional. And as Scott pointed out they don’t need the money or the business. Another good reason to steer clear of Regency.
