Excellent service with my 4.5 ton home improvement delivery. Driver Tony was communicative, on-time, courteous. Dispatch/scheduling was also communicative and polite. Wouldn't hesitate to use again based on this experience. Important to arrange in advance the level of delivery service (curbside/hand-unload vs lift gate etc)

Yikes, the WORST of the WORST. Helping a friend send a pallet to Canada, been shipping goods for 50 + years, so this isn't my first rodeo. Driver was an absolute arrogant, rude imbecile, no patience and downright just stupid. Don't care if they are an economical company, obviously you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this company for any freight services. Just look at all their negative Yelp reviews-speaks volumes.

Insanely terrible company. I was fine with it up until this point, as at least they were polite, and I do not usually leave bad reviews, but I just got off the phone and was treated rudely by the lady at the front desk, which is absolutely the last straw. They attempted my delivery a few weeks ago and the item was damaged, not a problem so far. Mistakes happen, I refused the delivery and waited for a replacement. 3-4 days later they call me to schedule a new delivery, so I'm thinking great! They get there, and it is the same exact damaged item that came the first time, so I send it back again. A few days pass, they schedule another delivery, same item again. After a few weeks, they finally get the new item and leave me a voice message to let me know it will be delivered between 12-4 pm. Driver shows up at 4:10, stays 5 minutes in the truck and leaves. I call the office, they say it's not on the truck and it will be delivered tomorrow instead. Tomorrow comes, they send me a text to call them to schedule the delivery. I call them and tell them it's already scheduled for today (confimed on the phone yesterday), but no, it's actually going to be tomorrow. So this will be the SIXTH TIME I am waiting there for half a day (a house where I don't live and have to drive to), hoping that indeed tomorrow they will deliver it.

UPDATE: We just had our delivery and the gentleman who delivered it deserves 5 stars. Patient, kind, and professional. Redeeming considering the receptionist was not very pleasant. Original review: I called to reschedule a shipment and dealt with a highly unprofessional receptionist. She was impatient and cut me off. She failed to listen and further confused herself regarding a simple task. She was then too lazy to further assist and asked me to call back tomorrow after I caught her in a blatant lie. Do not suggest dealing with this company if you have a choice in the matter. I will be contacting our supplier to relay the bad service as well

I ordered a product from company that used R+L Carriers - that company has lost a good customer. Very poor communication and service and they are unable to deliver where other carriers have had no issues. R+L did not contact me to set up a delivery, I was not informed I had to contact them. I found out by calling to find out where my order was. They set up a delivery time and said someone would contact me to set up a time the next day. I was not contacted, so I called R+L. I was placed on hold because they weren't sure if it was out for delivery today and then was transferred because the terminal needed to speak to me. They needed to speak to me because they were already here and had decided they could not reach my address. I do live in a rural area, but I and my neighbors have had big truck deliveries before, including a 44 ft camper. In any case, the only solution they offered me was to have it returned. I wouldn't use them and I wouldn't buy anything from someone who does.
