Giving 2 stars since this Safeway is super close to me and have never had this issue before. My problem is with the security guard. I’ve never seen her before but today she followed me into the store while I grab fries, mozzarella sticks and ice cream. If you familiar with the store the frozen section is next the deli that has prosciutto next too. I thought why not get some to enjoy later with my wine at home. This lady run to exit with the prosciutto is near and said your not steal from here. I said excuse me what gives you that idea she said you look dark enough to do it. I told her she should be ashamed of herself and grabbed my prosciutto and mozzarella stick and walked to self checkout. She then watched me at self check and told the self check person make sure she scans everything, I’m the only one here. The worker ignore her thinking I couldn’t hear. This was disgusting treatment I wish I could’ve got her badge number of the front of her face. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to wait for a manager (the store was swamped) , or even go to another store nor did I care or have the time to agree with someone. This is such a terrible way to start a 3 day weekend. When will people learn the color of your skin means nothing. Crazy thing is I was in business casual as I just got off from work. Safe way hire better security. And yes I had time to write this review so bettter !!!

5 stars for the customer’s service clerk who she helped me to purchase some infant formula today. She was very patient while waiting for me to call my daughter to confirm that I bought the correct formula. She kept her smile at all time and telling me it is okay when I’m apologizing for the delay! She need to be recognized and awarded, not many CSR like her nowadays! The entire store been very well organized and very clean, you can get everything you need for your meals and you household! I would for sure to keep coming back to this Safeway to shop !

I was looking for a particular item from the Safeway website search results. I thought it'd be just quicker to get it from a store. I searched the section and could not find it. I then sought some help from one of the staff on the floor, and then tried the Customer Service counter. Both told me they could not help me because they don't have a way to look up their merchandise. I joked about it whether that means they don't even know what they are selling in the store. Both of them just shrugged me off. Maybe that's how a supermarket is run. It certainly does not help the customer. They can also try to be more friendly to make it up a little bit.

No complaints. Lots of parking spots. Fresh veggies and fruits are usually available.

Every time I go here the Garda security guard and plain clothes armed security profile me and get in position to shoot me with their hands in specific positions. The plain clothes security even stays outside next to my car. I'm a paying customer and they make me feel like a criminal. I'll spend my money at their competitors for now.
