Delivered 30 large pizzas through DD to this company today..it took almost 2 hours out of my work day, the amount of pizzas took up all the space in my back seat and front seat, delivered them and took them inside for the employees and the company paid me $5.50..for 2 hours of my time. I don't work there and thankfully, but I'm sure this is an honest testament and assessment of how they view others and how they treat people that serve them and their needs. I have over 1,000 completed orders and this surpassed all spectrums of delivery woes one might incur in customer service.

Started December 2023, Truck. 72104. And 72213 made it to August 1st 2024 Work very very hard! did everything the right way. Was always on time or at least 12 hours before delivery was scheduled. Replaced many many trailer tail lights because drivers would just leave them like that. Spend a lot of time filling up trailer tires on the non-automatic air systems, because drivers would just leave them flat. Washed the truck on my own dime because they don't reimburse for truck washes. Spent a lot of time sweeping out trailers because folks would leave them filthy. 22 flat trailer tires. 12 of them were flat when I pick them up. The rest Blew UP on the road. Last 18 days I didn't have air conditioning, Told them I would try to gut it out. I didn't think they would actually leave me for 18 days with no air condi That was my kind of breaking point for me anyway. That's my fault I suppose. Too RTI'S credit Zach the director of operations did reach out to me. I did not answer, after 18 days with 107° heat with no air conditioning I was in no mood to talk to anybody to be honest. I washed the truck up turned the keys into Brent at the night shift, and thank you for the opportunity. Fighting for layover in detention is just stressful and just wears you out! Even when you have the proof. Big shout out to Brent on night shift at the maintenance shop. Big shout out to Patrick H, who would get me home to Kansas City, Missouri, for a 34-hour restart when my driver manager could not

I just don't make enough to live off of. Keep running into the same issue of loads getting canceled on Fridays and being stuck for a whole weekend. Rarely use my full 70 hours because something happens with a load in which I end up sitting for days. My first dm was okay but kept giving me the run around when looking for loads. My second dm basically makes me run at 4pm so that he can pass me off to night dispatch. The one time I ran in the morning I got done with a load and got to the shipper 4hrs early only to have my load get canceled at 12pm because they said they not gonna have it ready any time soon, as in next week. Called my dm from 1pm to 5pm with him not answering 1 time. Last time I called at 4:30 the answering machine said he would call me back in 5 minutes. Clearly he was stalling until 5pm so he can leave. Called night dispatch and of course no loads coming out of Houston Texas. This week I probably made $200 before taxes not because I couldn't or wouldn't run but because I had nothing to run

During my tenure at RTI, which lasted a little over two months, I served as an over-the-road (OTR) driver, following a schedule of 24 days on duty with 4 days off. Despite consistently submitting my home time requests 30 to 60 days in advance and following up to ensure my driver manager was aware, my requests were frequently overlooked. On multiple occasions, I was informed there was no available freight or pressured under the threat of extended time on the road, up to 60 days, to run recaps, even though this was an optional policy for drivers. Despite expressing discomfort with running recaps and citing fatigue and the need for my reset time, my concerns were repeatedly ignored. In addition to these scheduling issues, I also faced challenges related to my claustrophobia. I clearly communicated to my dispatcher, Daisy, that I could not accept assignments involving underground caverns. However, this concern was initially dismissed, requiring me to escalate the issue to management. Ultimately, I had to request a new driver manager to ensure my safety and well-being. Below is an excerpt from an email I sent to management during this period: Dear Mr. Nading, I am a new driver at RTI, having transferred from TLI. Initially, I was pleased with the company culture, which made me feel valued and part of a family, rather than just another number. However, I’ve encountered several challenges that I believe require your attention. My driver manager, Daisy, while polite and well-meaning, seems overwhelmed by her responsibilities. She prefers communication via text and phone calls, but I’ve informed her that I cannot safely focus on these communications while driving. Additionally, despite informing her of my claustrophobia, I was assigned to loads in underground locations, which caused significant stress. I have also encountered issues with load assignments that do not align with my DOT work hours, leading to unnecessary duress. Please assist me in resolving these issues. During my last days with the company, I was assigned two loads for which I was not paid. The first load originated in Montana and ran to Kansas, covering 1,173 loaded miles and approximately 56 empty miles. The second load was from Kansas City to Owensboro, Kentucky. After arriving in Owensboro, I was out of hours and unable to deliver the load at 9:00 AM due to picking it up at 5:00 PM the previous day. And was routed to the Owensboro yard with the understanding that the load was to be repowered as I had encountered additional issues, including a tire that needed fixing and an electrical problem that caused my tablet to shut down repeatedly. Due to the family emergency, I was forced to leave. Before my departure, I cleaned out my truck and returned all company property, including the fuel card, door pass, and truck keys, to the shop. The shop manager and the lady at the desk signed a written statement confirming that I had returned the truck and all associated equipment. Although I initially looked forward to working with RTI and appreciated the efforts of the support staff, ongoing issues related to home time, mandatory recaps, unsuitable load assignments, led me to conclude that my concerns were not adequately addressed. I ultimately felt that these issues significantly impacted my ability to perform my duties safely and efficiently. During my time at RTI, I got to know another driver, Michael Gene Cochran, who encountered similar issues with the company. He drove trucks 72104 and 72213 and worked until August 1st, 2024. He endured 18 days in extreme heat without air conditioning and was kept on the road beyond his scheduled home time. Fighting for layover and detention pay is exhausting, even when you have all the necessary proof, and they often tried to deny retention, detention, and layover payments.

Update on my last review for this company. I just left the company today , returned the truck. They have yet to compensate me for my personal things they took out the truck while I was on worker’s comp leave. In the review they said they was looking into and trying to see what solution they come up with to compensate me for my things. Honestly this company has giving me hell since I returned from leave .Once I noticed it I started taking notes because I was getting fewer miles and always was sitting with no detention pay or layover pay. Literally started trying to force me to quit the job. Update you guys when I talk back to the lawyer Monday with all the evidence.
