We've moved numerous times but this was the first time we've used a moving company. The people at Union Transfer and Storage Company located in Arden, NC did a fantastic job from start to finish. The United Van Lines driver, loading and unloading crews were excellent. All time schedules were met and the moving coordinator kept in constant communication with us for status updates and concerns that we might have. The contents of our three bedroom home and two car garage contents arrived at our new home with no damage. We had several antique furniture pieces and multiple very heavy pieces of solid wood furniture that were handled with genuine concern and care. My wife and I are very appreciative of the job that Union Transfer did and we highly recommend them for your move.

We used Union with our most recent move because we had such a great experience when we moved for a new job opportunity with Mission Hospital. Mission is one of Union's larger accounts, so we got their best service. Unfortunately, we had quite a different experience when we paid out of pocket. Three people showed up to load the truck, but one got angry at the supervisor and left. This left only two people to load a 2500 sq ft home. When it came time to unload, again, only two individuals. Both were very nice, respectful and apologetic for the lack of help. One of the individuals was not in the best of health which left the majority of the work to the other. Obviously, we ended up with pretty significant damage. My husband contacted Union to give them the opportunity to make it right and was told there was nothing they could do. After spending upwards of $10,000, one would expect better customer service. Very disappointed.

Highly recommend! Handled a double move from small, historic urban street to mountains. Delicate antiques were treated with care and arrived without any issues. Wayne provided solid recommendations from the start, and Johnny executed both moves with professionalism and care. Good communication throughout, on schedule, greatly helpful. A good team to have on our side!

As with the other reviewers, I was very satisfied with the whole process. Cameron knew his job well and the weight of the move was 'spot on'. The loading went great. The driver, who not only picked up the load, but also delivered it in Minnesota, was outstanding. He checked and marked each item on and off the truck. He was personable and went beyond the 'call of duty'. My wife is very sick with cancer, and he was attentive to her directions. All in all, I would give the whole process an A+. Now, if I can just get out of these boxes and start a normal life again.

Justin Crockett of Union Transfer and Storage Arden NC did an outstanding job of packing our belongings in Mills River NC and sending us on our way. Justin’s team of Jeremy, Bryan and Jordan were very professional, efficient and friendly. Amazingly, Bryan mentioned that he had helped move us in 4 ½ years ago! That in and of it’s self says a lot about Union Transfer! We are awaiting the delivery of our belongings and can only hope to be so lucky, again.
