They were super expensive and inaccurate with the pickup date. When we went to pick up, it was confusing how to even get into the facilities. The person at the front gate, Jesus R. was distracted with his ears plugged and not paying attention. We didn’t notice he was even there because he wasn’t visible or aware. So we drive past the front gate and come to an office with people finally. Except they turn us back to the gate to check in. We go back. Find Jesus, who is super rude, threatening to lie and say we refused to pick up so we would have to waste even more time and return another day. He was petty and made us literally go out and back in before he would help. At this point we just want our stuff and never to do business with this company again. For the price they charge, you’re better off finding a company with better service. Would not recommend even to my enemies. Nobody deserves to deal with petty Jesus R.

Very poor experience with this company, would very strongly advise against using them for long distance moves. I moved from California to Pennsylvania. My shipment was 26 days late, and arrived with a missing mattress, broken table, damaged dining and revolving chairs, and multiple damaged boxes. The worst aspect of this experience was the customer service that I received, with rude dispatch/customer service agent. Most of the people that I spoke to would keep giving me the runaround, without helping with giving me specific information regarding my shipment arrival. 0/5, don’t waste money on this company because it’s not worth your peace of mind.

I rented a movie company by the name of Roadrunners,on November 1st. The day of the move I spoke to Will which is the accounting and he told me the movers were going to be at my house between 10 AM and 2 PM they came a hour and a half late and when they came and started packing up our belongings they did not tell us when they hit the mark that we pay for. They continue to pack our stuff until I asked what mark they were at. We only agreed on 300 ft.³ but they went over. They did not inform us and when I found out I asked them not to leave because we could not afford to pay to move all that stuff. ( I was on the phone) I then called will he continue to send me to voicemail then he finally called me back and I explain to him that the movers went over and he told us protocol was for them to let us know when they hit our mark. He told me he was going to call the company and get back with me but he never did. I called the company multiple times I called Will multiple times and I could not get in contact with anybody. After hours of calling I finally got in contact with Chris one of the dispatcher‘s. He was very rude he told me it was at the hours and the movers had already left my house so it was nothing I could do, after I told them not to. The company did not communicate with their drivers they are not trying to make up the mistakes that they made they are now holding our belongings which has my mothers diabetic monitors at their facility. They are trying to charge us more money for the mistakes they made. They would not give me any information to file a complaint they will not allow us to come and get our belongings and my mother needs her diabetic machines to check her sugar I have reached out to her lawyer

Roadrunner Theft. BEWARE.
***WARNING**
DO NOT hire Roadrunner to transport your household goods.
Roadrunner Transit (aka Roadrunner Moving, XRT Logistics, or Polaris Moving Systems) agreed to pick up two non-flammable inert gas bottles (argon and co2). They cannot haul flammable gas or oxgen, which is standard in the industry. The company and I verified this BEFORE pickup and the bottles were labeled.
The Driver picked them up and confirmed with me that they can ship non-flammable gas.
While in transit, somebody at roadrunner wrote “oxi tanks” on the inventory, even though they were labeled Argon and Co2. They said they cannot haul oxygen, but these bottles were not oxygen. Instead of shipping them like they were supposed to, They kept the bottles. Therefore, these were stolen. Local police have been notified, but the bottles are unable to locate. Roadrunner won’t reply to emails. They do not answer the phone when I call either
A few more things to note:
1. Roadrunner was NOT authorized to transport household goods. They were in violation while they had my household goods. Their DOT number was removed from the FMCSA website. They had over 30 complaints, 16 of which were hostage.
2. They said they wouldn’t deliver unless I paid an additional fee that we did not agree to in the original contract.
3. Total space in storage was 300 cu ft. They charged me for 736 cu ft.
4. Their customer service screens calls and will avoid answering if they recognize your phone number
5. Their manager Matt threatened to return my goods back to point of origin, which is basically dumping everything on the street with nobody to receive them. I had to contact the DOT field office to keep him in line and complete the job.
6. Roadrunner claims to be BBB accredited. They are not.
7. They change their business name often. Now it is called Roadrunner Moving. Also were not authorized to transport household goods.
8. Their dispatcher Chris R (the property hostage guy) performs his duties very poorly. Unless part of his duties include withholding delivery if I didn’t pay the extra fee. That part he did well. He has no idea how to communicate and is also the main scammer within the company. He did not pay the movers who loaded my stuff at pickup. So they tried to go after me.
9. Roadrunner is disrespectful. Their customer is their lowest priority. Collecting their money is their highest.
In general, this company behaves in a rather criminal manner. Literally stealing my welding tanks actually is criminal.
If you do decide to hire roadrunner, get their DOT number, verify it on the FMCSA website, and be sure to make contact with the California DOT office in order to receive your goods.
Overall, avoid hiring them. Their behavior should not be tolerated in the household goods moving industry. Remember, these are YOUR personal items. An expensive, untrustworthy outfit witholding your belongings for several months is a stressful experience.

DO NOT USE ROADRUNNERMOVINGS!! It takes more than a month to move my goods from NY to CA, while the agent told me it normally takes a week. In the month, I called their number more than 30 times, few of them got picked. They said they cannot track or give me any ETA! And they always says it's within the largest time frame (21 business days after the first available date). The agent told me only in some extreme cases like the truck broke or got in accidents...
They never got on time, when picking up they said the time frame was 8-10am but they arrived at 11:30am. When they delivered, they said the time frame is 11am to 1 pm while they arrived in 3:30
Finally they arrived, charged me $340 because their big truck cannot get in the apartment... They didn't help me unpack though they said it's included in the services before. Some of the bowls are broken, two of my boxes are missing!!! One chair is missing (I only delivered two chairs as furniture) They also gave me a box from another customer in which there are many valuable things.
Once again, do not use this company!
