***Stellar Service, Stellar Listening-Communicating, Stellar Work Ethic! Rob & Messer Moving Company moved my 900 sq. ft office in San Rafael to Petaluma storage at the end of June 2020. Dave Robb, the owner, listens. He listens and plans accordingly. Listening to customers is not only smart, but is rare these days. Dave has excellent communications skills, and has a good communication system via email and text each step of the process. Dave has quality staff who he has trained well in working with customers. Luis was assigned to me, and sent me a message asking if I had questions before the move, and encouraging me to communicate. When I did contact him with a last minute question, he called me back right away, and then followed up with more information: Excellent service! **Movers: James and Gabriel are a dynamic experienced team. Like Dave Robb, James and Gabriel listen. They planned packing and unpacking the truck BEFOREHAND, based on my concerns and needs for set up in storage unit. James and Gabriel are young men who seem to have "old" experience. Not only do they have a strong WORK ETHIC, but they are a synchronized team who efficiently yet carefully moved my office. Gabriel and James are courteous, and form a "hot-shot" team, having honed their skills for years, not needing to talk too much after initial planning. When they did talk, it almost seemed like short code accompanied by hand gestures and head nods, a well-synchronized team with experiential knowledge of the moving process. James and Gabriel were careful with my things, and practiced good safety in the office and down the stairs. Both wearing masks and keeping social distance, they moved over a hundred moving boxes, furniture, artwork, an lots of supplies and materials, going down the16 steps to reach the truck, and then 16 steps back up for the next load. They showed the same care at the Petaluma storage. Putting down two heavy duty tarps on the cement floor first, they carefully put away furniture and boxes, having listened and planned with me initially. I can actually go to the storage unit and work at a table with chairs to continue sorting and moving goods to my home office. MOVING? USE ROBB & MESSER MOVING-They are full of good moves!

I was thrilled that I was able to find movers to handle moving a large fountain in my backyard. Dave was very friendly and easy to work with. His team was able to come to my house the same week I called, and within an hour had safely moved the fountain exactly where I wanted it. Furthermore, they are very honest. I accidentally overpaid the crew, and they knocked on my door a few minutes later and returned the extra cash! I will definitely recommend Dave's team for any move or even if you need help moving a few large items in your house or yard! Thank you, Dave!

Robb and Messer moved an antique piano & organ for me. I was so pleased with their overall service - definitely an A+ in service all around. Their response was prompt & helpful. I felt they went out of their way to schedule this job - very accommodating. The 2 guys (sorry, didn’t get their names) that did the moving were careful, efficient and friendly. Thanks - great job and one happy customer.

From the initial contact to the final drop off of furniture, our experience with Robb & Messer Moving was excellent. Rich, who came to do the initial walk through, was on time and very thorough. He sent our estimate quickly and was very responsive to any questions we had. Although it wasn’t the cheapest estimate we got, it was certainly the most professional and dealing with everyone in the office was so smooth we felt comfortable going with them. We are so glad we did. On the day of the move the crew showed up on time - a few minutes early even - with the biggest truck I’ve ever seen (!) and quickly got to work. I can’t say enough good things about the driver/supervisor, Luis. He was personable and thorough in letting us know how things were going. The crew of 4 were very efficient and wrapped furniture/delicate items very carefully. The were so professional it was obvious they had worked together before and had a good system. Carlos was great in organizing the load going into the truck. Arrival at our new house was sooner than expected, and while this time it was only Luis and Carlos offloading the truck, they did a great job. Both crews worked hard and we tipped them well. They were totally worth it. Oh, and our final price was actually LOWER than the contracted price, since we had packed a few bigger items ourselves and didn’t use their boxes. This goes to shows the honesty of the company. I highly recommend Robb & Messer Moving.

I had a fabulous experience with Robb and Messer Moving & Storage and North American Van Lines. I recently made a cross-country move and selected Robb and Messer after contacting several moving companies. From the moment the estimator arrived at my door to load day, transit and delivery, the experience went smoothly. Even when all my items wouldn’t fit on the truck due to the other loads already on the truck, Luis (my move coordinator) arranged for another small truck to pick up the rest of my things within 30 minutes of the moving van leaving. The drive crew were also wonderful! They arrived on time on load day, were friendly and professional, treated my belongings very carefully and made what could have been a stressful experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend Robb and Messer Moving & Storage and North American Van Lines if you have a move in your future!
