I have worked for several companies since 1993. I've been side by side with Roehl many times. I've been on interstates with them all over the place. They've been quiet, dignified, well maintained, and move freight. Never rude or unprofessional. They do hair follicle I've heard which probably slims the pickings and costs them short term truck fillers but is certainly a great business and safety practice. What else is there to say? Thank you for providing/moving the things that I've bought from stores nationwide for many years. A different thought might be if Roehl could look at my life under a magnifying glass on a public forum like this-how many stars would a powerful and successful carrier give me? Yeah.

Posting a new review after I’ve been gone for 5 months. Roehl is NOT a bad company, they get you home on time! You may just have to stay out for around a month but do it and 90% of the time you’ll get the miles. The Fleet Managers are awesome, and the flatbed equipment is really good, minus some of the repaired tarps. This terminal is small but almost never runs out of parking, and the maintenance crew here is cool as hell! If you’re just starting out or even have experience and live in the area, give them a try. If you run hard and are on time then you’ll be set!

I used to work here 3 years ago I can’t believe all the negativity coming from these other peoples reviews. I had a great experience working here and I had a fantastic fleet manager Becky Meyers I loved working with her. Roehl is a certified safe and successful company with a CEO that really does care I reminisce about my time spent here all the time.

I always enjoy looking back at the reviews. I’m about 90% sure whoever they hired to go through these to equal out their negatives with positives. Is either a soft head or AI. Working for Roehl had me miserable. So miserable in fact I decided to go back to school and change careers. Hate to even get back in a truck. If you’re an experienced driver, don’t go. If you’re new or considering getting your CDL. Make this company your last resort. Go to an LTL company or Truck Driving School. Glorified steering wheel holder. You’ll be stuck in New York, Wisconsin, and camp out in Gary, Indiana. You’ll go through Chicago a majority of your miles. Pay is junk. You’ll sign an agreement for a flex/sliding rate (might as well be flat rate). Higher miles, obviously you’re gonna get the lower rate. But oddly that “base” percentage doesn’t match that agreement you signed.

If you're going through the GYCDL program and have never driven a truck before, stay away from here. They have a trainer that will make you feel incompetent. Then instead of training you, call you names behind your back and tell other students he his going to get you kicked out. If you have the choice, go to a different terminal. You have been warned. I see they replied saying it was without merit but I know what I went through and other students know what i went through. Its a shame this company would lie on behalf of a trainer that made them look bad. All without even contacting me about it. Shame. Should tell you all you need to know.
