It is hard to find a company which will move one room of furniture from one state to another without charging an arm and a leg, so I chose Rolls Van Lines because they were able to do it. I was able to have the furniture picked up on a Sunday so I didn't have to take a day off from work. The movers arrived on time, were professional, and everything was wrapped in moving blankets and secured. They even disassembled the bed. However, the actual delivery date to my daughter's apartment in the Bronx was later than the promised delivery date. The two boxes of dishes which were put in the truck along with the bedroom furniture never showed up. I filed a claim for lost goods, and after a year, I finally heard from them. During that time, I emailed them and faxed copies of my claim in case my claim had been lost. I don't understand how you can lose two boxes of dishes marked fragile, and I had packed them with plenty of newspaper so they would be secure and not break. They were my Mom's dishes and they have more sentimental value than dollar value, but after over a year, the dishes should have been located. If someone received them by mistake, the person should have called Rolls to have them picked up. Do not use this company if you are moving anything from one state to another.

Overall I had a wonderful experience with this company. I purchased a dedicated move from Baltimore to Ann Arbor. The sales team was efficient and friendly. The pick up drivers, packers, and loaders and the deliver driver, unloaders and re-assemblers were all fantastic. The only reason that I didn't give this a 5 star rating was that their dispatch person was rude to me on the phone when I called to discuss a problem with my delivery time. Basically, something came up and the dedicated delivery time I paid an extra fee for ended up being 1 day and an additional 7 hours late. However, within 48 hours (over a holiday weekend) I was contacted by the office manager and was refunded 100% of my dedicated delivery service fee because of this inconvenience. Also, the office manager was extremely nice and said that she would address my concern about the person in dispatch. Overall, I'm really glad I tried this company and I would use them for a move in the future.

Worst experience. The estimated $1000. Ended paying almost double. Used their storage and when my furniture got delivery all the boxes were full of white dust and smelled like burnt-out. On the day of delivery the show up an 10pm to move in furniture. My neighbor where very happy with all the noise they made. Plus wanted to charge me extra for delivery from parking lot to my door beach it was 10 feet away. Plus they lost 4 boxes of my personal belongings and of course never offered diffrent types of insurance but they did say it was protected. Put in a claim and they offered me $52.00 for a total lost of more than $700.00. I will never use them again. Horrible moving company. Don't use them.

Used them to move me from Baltimore to DC and loved it. Friendly and flexible customer service, the movers were quick. They did 4 stories townhouse in 2 hours. I asked them if they can make an extra stop in Severna Park to drop some stuff at my aunt's house and they did that free of charge. Used their storage too. Already recommended them to my friend in DC and she was happy too. Great price and professional!
