We just had a great experience with Royal Hawaiian Movers. I highly recommend them! We had to move three very large, oddly shaped, fragile items to another island. They helped us with understanding how to do the shipment and were incredibly patient with all my million questions. When it came time for the pick up in Hilo and delivery in Oahu everything went perfectly on both ends. We will definitely be shipping with them again.

I found Royal Hawaiian to be competent, professional, and on time. However, it seems some communications could be improved. My shipment arrived identifying me as "Mr." (I am female) and despite my clearly telling the Honolulu office what my Hilo contact phone numbers were, the Hilo delivery folks kept trying to call the (uninhabited) house in Honolulu where they picked up the shipment. Luckily, they finally reached me by email to confirm the delivery time. The prep for the shipment and the delivery were both performed efficiently and professionally, and Royal Hawaiian was flexible enough to accommodate a challenging driveway at the pick-up site.

Used them twice now, both when we moved to the island and when we bought our house, and everyone was organized, friendly and accommodating. LeAnn in the office was really on top of it and worked with me so much when our closing was pushed back. The guys did a great job and respected our homes and belongings, came prepared, and worked fast and efficient. I'd use them for every move.

Great movers! This company was recommended to me by PODS Hawaii customer service rep. It was a bit of work to get the person who does scheduling to contact me- I ended up going to the office in person to get my move scheduled. Once booked, however, I was very pleased with the service provided! I needed a shipping POD unloaded at the port and items moved to a storage unit.The young woman at the reception desk was very friendly and welcoming. The person I was to meet with to fill out my paperwork left the office as I got there, despite my having called to tell her I was on my way. I had to wait until another person was available to fill out the paperwork for my move. The youg woman at the reception desk was very kind and apologetic about my wait. The day before my move I got a call to confirm the time the movers would meet me at the Port. The morning of the move, the driver called me to connect at the port and helped me to find the POD. The movers, Jeff and Kalani were so kind, polite and professional! They took great care unloading and moving my belongings, and unloaded items into my storage unit, carefully organizing and neatly arranging items to make it easy to access for me later. They also loaded a large item in my car for me. Can't say enough about what a great job these two did! I would have given 5 stars if the sales person had been better about following up to order/schedule the move. The service, once scheduled, was definitely 5 star! Would definitely recommend this company.
