We love Dr. Findlay. He has been truly fantastic with my mom who suffers from dementia. He's professional, thorough, and understanding. We both appreciate how Dr. Findlay takes the time to communicate clearly and listen to concerns. First class team of staff as well.

Love the optometrist, not so much the other staff. Im a student and I needed new lenses for my glasses without being able to go back to my home town so I came here. The optometrist was great! Super understanding, got me a new prescription and was awesome. The other staff not so much, they tried pushing me to get new frames multiple times after I already said no. Then when my lenses came in they again tried to convince me to get new frames, to which I explained my families insurance would not cover new frames, only new lenses and id like to keep my frames. As they were trying to get my lenses out they claimed they could not remove a screw and asked if someone has put locktite or something similar on it, I explained no, they are just from last year and shouldnt have a problem. They stripped the screw in their attempts but were able to replace the lenses, the lady very angrily told me that if I wanted to come back to them I would be REQUIRED to get new frames FROM THEM at my expense as they would never work on my frames again. Im a college student, I cannot afford new frames every year or even 2 years and the attitude was incredibly unprofessional.

Terrible receptionist. Rude not helpful at all! Just want to take your money. After going here for close to 4 years now I will be going elsewhere! Also I can see that I’m not the first person to comment about this issue! No issues with my doctor at all! He was great.

I really enjoyed my experience at Russell West. I arrived for my scheduled appointment and met with Leanne, an Optometric Assistant there. She assisted me with finding the perfect pair of Peepers ( blue light lenses)- I spend a lot of time at a computer and these glasses have helped me greatly with my daily functions. They are great quality and a great price point. I really appreciate that they have lots of options available in store. Leanne helped me find the most flattering colour and style. Thank you Russell West Optometry!
